High quality, works as stated
I purchased this to replace an inexpensive set I had purchased a couple of years ago. The Irwin set is of much higher quality.

Used one of the bits for about 20 pre drilled holes
Had 1/8 steel sheet that I had pre drilled 5/16 holes about 20 of them. Used one of the bits so that I could use counter sunk screws. Very durable still looks new. I did use oil as I went and kept the drill speed on the slow side.

Used these on unistrut. They worked perfectly and didnt dull at all after making over 2 dozen countersinks. Very Impressed.

High Quality Handy Tool
Irwin makes good stuff. I already have a couple of sets of pliers and levels. What I like about these countersinks is that you don't have to drill a hole ahead of it to get your countersink. I have some countersinks that have a drill bit ahead of them and, most of the time, that's fine but sometimes you can drill too far. I could remove the drill bit from the countersink but that's a bit of a pain, tiny allen wrench and all and then you have to put it back on. This is handy to just grab one of these to make your countersink.

Been using these in mild steel on my mill
Bought without a real expectation of them lasting very long due to the price, but I've been impressed. The 3/4" has run over a dozen holes in mild steel now for counter sunk bolts and still cuts like new. Rigidity helps a lot to eliminate chatter due to the cutter engagement on the larger sizes. Overall, I've been impressed and will buy again when I need to.
