Lonely Planet Hong Kong (Travel Guide)

Sounds pretty obvious but it has proved very useful in planning what to do on a stopover in Hong Kong. Thoughtfully laid out.

Dosent list good pubs or restaurants

Almost completely useless. Once upon a time, Lonely Planet Guides had practical information, organised so that it could be found and used (and sometimes relied on). Now it is all silly pictures and little sub-wiki nonsenses, but if you look for infomation, the most you'll get is footers with a few bars and cafes. Lists are evidently a thing of the past, and if this is how they are going to be, these failing books should be also.

Very comprehensive; but not oriented for cruise shop visitors. Was hoping they would suggest more land tours

Guida turistica eccellente. Molto chiara ed esauriente. Consigliatissima

Beyond horrible. The vast majority of information is in a tiny type size. It must be something like six point type. I thought my eyes were going bad. When you think about it, the only people left on earth who buy printed things versus digital are 50, 60 years old and older. They wear glasses. They appreciate 12 point type. I respect the Lonley Planet brand and approach, but the ridiculously small type makes this a pack of frustration, not useful information
