Very little goes a long way
Purchased specifically for a purpose other than plumbing or scuba, where very little needs be used and quite infrequently. To be used to lubricate the casings and piston-filler mechanisms of a few fountain pens. Although not advertised as '100% Pure', it is said to be 'food grade' and can be assumed to be free of impurities. It appears to be the same product as used by several pen-masters (the style of container and labelling was identical).

Good grease
I bought this ready for a filter tap canister change but I have not changed it yet. However, I was attaching a rubber drain hose to a dehumidifier's plastic output connector and I could not get it to slide on... so I applied this grease and it became instantly easy to do the job. Really impressed. And it's only a smallish tub but it feels like a lifetime's supply for me!
