Vibram Men's FiveFingers El-X Knit Shoe

Indescribable in feel and weight on my feet. When I bought my first pair of vibrams, this is how I thought they would feel. Almost feels like nothing and instantly made me happy.

Sizing: I’ve tried these in the exact measurement size of my foot as well as the size above. I ran into the issue that the smaller size was too small and the bigger being a touch too big. This would be remedied in a model with laces where you could secure the fit of the larger size like a Kso or Kso evoCompared to the OG ELX- the knit version is far superior in comfort and quality of materials used. It is soft, there is more inside cushioning on the bottom of your foot, and the materials used in the insole are far grippier and don’t allow your foot to slide around and blister.Sole- I personally prefer the classic sole, but found this to be very grippy underfoot. My only complaint was that when bending my toes, the rubber felt like it dug into the bottom of my toes a bit. Not sure if this would be remedied by breaking the shoe in.Overall, if you’re able to get the perfect fit, these are a fantastic option

Bought these for around the house and quick trips to the store. Very easy on and off. True to size. I have wide feet and still fit good. Not warm even with socks that do help. This is my 5th pair of VFF. Very fast shipping.

Not sure who though this thick fabric rubbing on your foot was a good plan..? Was genuinely obsessed with the old EL-X and these are just ok. Hard to wear them without socks.

KSO Classic 47 ~= 12-12.5 on this users feet.I'm a long time KSO Classic user. I wear five finger shoes every day for 10+ years.This is an excellent update for Vibram.The soles are soft and flexible, yet thicker than KSO. The upper fabric shrinks to my foot or at least felt like itBy far the best five finger product ever for daily use.I'm going to buy another pair as spares.

RIP El-X, the new not so minimalist El-X knit is on now the scene. The extra padding in the new knitted shoe prevents you from feeling the ground and it actually causes me a bit of knee pain. Vibram ruined one of their best shoes. Returned and hoping the original EL-X makes a resurgence.

The knit up is fantastic, although they could go up on the foot a bit more like KSO but they honestly feel fine. They’re nice and cool so you don’t end up with stinky feet after a week of shifts in the ED. The problem is vibram has utterly ruined what was their best minimalist sole. They basically added cushion to the insole so instead of the nice ground feel one gets with the KSO’s you feel like you’re walking on clouds. And instead of the nice flexibility of the KSO’s you have decreased flexibility, which translates to a decrease in foot tangle of motion. What was once a great minimalist insole/footbed for building foot strength now feels like a regular foam shoe which will surely result in loss of foot strength and mobility. How very unfortunate!

I love them and they are extremely comfortable thank you.
