Works on 2013 Avalon
So, a couple of things. Well, one thing. Your original struts MAY have a slight bend at one end, to accommodate the angle at which they attach when the hood opens. On my Avalon, the bend was on the piston end of the strut. But on these replacement struts, the bend is on the cylinder end. I was ready to flip out (like a ninja) but then realized that I can install them the other way, and they fit a lot better that way. Maybe not 100% like the OEM but very close, close enough. So, they went in with the piston end down (towards the engine).
