FINALLY A PROPERLY MINTY GUM! I've spent years settling for your Orbit or Trident etc. They have never been strong enough, but this gum lives up to its claims of minty power! I could do with each piece being slightly larger, but honestly I'm so over the moon with the explosion of flavor I'm more that willing to overlook that. The flavor does fade after 5-10 minutes, but is still more potent than your average gum even then. This is a mint that goes beyond the mouth, clearing out your sinuses, even making some less mint inclined eyes water at first! An excellent gum for people who are never satisfied with grocery store gums.

I tried the Grenades gum as an alternative to Black Black chicklets and Wang Black Strong Mint Gum to help control my asthma, because the other gums are difficult to find during the Covid Pandemic. The Grenades gum is a good alternative for a fraction of the price. A barrel of the other gums average about $12 each, not including shipping and handling. The Grenades are a much better value. The Grenades gum starts out VERY strong, almost so strong that it makes my eyes tear up, which is terrific for my sinuses and asthma. They really open things up very quickly. I would caution about wearing a mask and glasses when you first start on a piece, as they will burn your eyes. 1 piece at a time has been sufficient for me. The strong flavor lasts about 5 minutes and then begins to fade. It remains minty and strong enough to help me stop coughing for about an hour and then I move on, but the first 5 minutes are enough to start calming my lungs down. I would recommend this to anyone who loves mint or has respiratory issues and is looking for immediate relief without having to use medications. The xylitol is an added bonus, because I don't like artificial sweeteners and I try to limit my sugar intake. I'll be ordering more as my supplies begin to run low.

Our daughter got us hooked on this gum when she was stationed in Hawaii and sent some home to us. Hubby has asthma but hates having to use his inhaler all the time, especially when he has a cold or is just having really bad allergies. He will chew a piece of this to help ease his breathing. I don't have asthma, but have also chewed it when I have a cold and my airways feel tight. It eases my breathing so much! Be warned though, it is super strong and if you're not expecting it, it WILL make you cry!

It’s very strong, I have to pocket it in my cheek for a bit to get over the “hotness” but minty flavor lasts only for about 5 min. I wish there was a lingering minty taste. I begin chewing it about 5 minutes before getting to work. The texture gets a bit firm after awhile but not hard.

This gum is insanely minty and awesome. I thought the reviews were sort of made up but I threw a few pieces at people around the office and some of them immediately spit it out and a lot of them teared up because of the intensity. The initial blast only lasts a few minutes bit then it's just really good minty gum for quote some time. Super into it. Love it. Happy I ran accross this product !
