Is this OK for a labrador puppy around 12 weeks old ?

Probably a touch small. We’ve a Boston Terrier, it was OK for him as a puppy and is just about still OK. now he’s fully grown, I suspect the cage would only have a useful life of a couple of months for a Labrador. I’d get a bigger cage if I were you.

How heavy is this crate?

Light enough to carry easily in one hand.

We've been using ours for about ten months and it's holding together nicely.
