A set of two is a bit of overkill, but was able to give one as a gift to a fellow hat, lover. I have carried on as well as checked inside luggage. Hats have held form with no damage. Big fan of Melin hats and this protects them perfectly.

It comes with a smaller case; the large one can hold around 6 caps and the small one 4, but I managed to fit 7 in the large one and 5 in the small one.
