Sensodyne Extra Whitening Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth, Cavity Prevention and Sensitive Teeth Whitening - 4 Ounces

Problem: My mouth does not react well to SLS - Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. It is a common foaming agent in most all toothpastes, but it leaves my mouth feeling very dry and a bit irritated. Also most toothpastes have an extremely strong mint flavor to "leave your mouth fresh," but I feel like the mint is burning my lips and cheeks and tongue.Solution: Sensodyne Fresh Mint Cavity Prevention and Sensitivity Relief Toothpaste has a mild mint taste without the burn. Most important, it doesn't have SLS. The trade off is that it does not foam much at all and I usually add an extra dab part way through. So if you need "foaming" strong mint to feel like your teeth are clean, you will be very disappointed.I also like this toothpaste because it does contain fluoride. I need that because my teeth are very cavity prone. Most of the "natural" toothpastes that have no SLS also have no fluoride, so don't meet my needs.Finally, READ LABELS. Some of the other versions of Sensodyne Sensitive toothpaste DO contain SLS

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this toothpaste actually does help ease the discomfort of sensitive teeth. I have already ordered my second tube. Definitely recommend it for anyone having sensitive teeth issues.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) commonly causes canker sores. I’ve suffered from canker sores for years and thought it was just apart of life. I switched to this SLS-free toothpaste and after about a week I noticed no canker sores. They haven’t come back! My only regret is not finding out about this sooner. If you suffer from canker sores, definitely give this a try.

And less expensive than in the stores.

Works well for sensitive teeth, not sure about the whitening though.

The only toothpaste I use for sensitive teeth
