I am giving this a five stars because I am thoroughly enjoying using the keyboard to learn beginning classical songs like Minuet in C. Unlike the the Juno D6 I bought, the keyboard is more intuitive. I still find it confusing regarding how to use the arpeggiator and scenes. The manual is not very helpful and came with a lengthy errata sheet, which didn't help. Roland needs to put more effort into the technical writing component of their products. A good solid manual that goes step by step into even the most basic functions would be helpful. But I liked the ease with which I could select tones, split the keyboard and add a scene with the split keyboard sounds (fretless bass in the left hand, the default/first synth sound in the right hand). I wish it allowed me to save a favorite scene to a favorites list. It only allows you to save favorite tones to the favorites list, and I can't even figure out how to do that. The keys feel fine to me, and there are many great sounds. I also got this at about $85 off on a Black Friday sale, which I appreciated.

I had doubts about the small speakers, but they turned out perfect for me. Within minutes I pulled up the Soft Stage EP sound and was improvising for hours. Months later and it is the only sound I've used. The keys are a little slippery, but I've gotten used to it. I was going to get a different pitch bend controller 3d printed. It looks easy enough to do, but I've gotten used to it too. And because I'm a trombonist, I use that pitch bend a lot! It's funny how I translate those bending ideas when I'm playing a real piano! m o t h

Loved the red color, felt like I was playing a nord! Ha! The sounds are pretty good, SUPER lightweight almost feels like a toy - truth is I don't think you can find a better option at that price but having just headphone output is kind of silly, it wouldn't cost them that much to just add a line out! The sounds are very good, the keys are not bad, I ended up returning it though.

Absolutely amazing for the price. Tons of classic synths and drum kits and even sound effects. You could make a movie with this thing. Not just the music, but the sound effects too. It was so much fun to play, I have two more kids that want to take piano lessons now.

I’m a fool to have bought this. Invest in a keyboard that actually cares about musicians/creators. I don’t know what the heck they were thinking not putting a quarter inch out making it compatible with plugging into a PA. You can’t upload WAVs into the bank either which I’m still confused what that’s even for. The format the tracks have to be in to upload directly on the keyboard is also extremely inconvenient. A lot of repetitive type sounds making you think there’s a lot of variety. If you just want a keyboard to play songs on, get anything but this. If you want a keyboard to experiment with different sounds, get anything but this.

Excellent Budget keyboard for the price there is nothing to complain about.

Me sorprendió bastante con la calidad .. Roland no podía fallar.. me encanta mucho los sonidos desde el piano hasta los demás sonidos .. quiero decir que compre un sustain aparte y le da otro toque extra al sonido .. pero en general está bastante completo

It's good. But the recording feature does not record the pedal. It does send the pedal data through the usb c cable to the pc and if you are using it as MIDI to play VST. I feel they should have mentioned this when listing the on board recording feature. It only sends MIDI data through the usb it does not send sound so you'll need VST plug ins to use this keyboard with a DAW program
