Most comfortable option
Warmth and unreal comfort... You will forget you have these on. They are that comfortable. They keep you warmer than cotton long johns and they are SOFT! LOVE THEM!

Highly recommend
My son loves these. Says they’re super warm and sooo incredibly comfy. Way better than synthetic which can leach microplastics into you. I wash in cold then just throw them in the dryer and they’re fine, no shrinkage at all. I ordered him a second set cuz he loves them so much. Definitely recommend.

Meh - OK, but lightweight merino wool is much better.
These are ok. I have them on now. I have not washed them yet, so don't know how they hold up, but if you are looking for a lightweight and warm base layer, 165 gm/m2 merino wool is a much better option. It costs just a little more, but if you avoid the big costly names (think SM) and go with a perfectly good alternative like merino.tech they are cost competitive. I have been wearing the merino.tech merino wool underwear for years in all of the weights depending on the season and they are super warm and hold up well to repeated washings. Both merino wool and silk require careful handling when laundering, so be sure to read the laundering instructions. I was cold on gentle cycle and hang to dry and have had no issues with the wool. The lightweight wool ones just feel much better and are warmer than these lightweight silk ones. As someone else noted, if you wear these as PJs without underwear the mouse will most certainly sneak out of the house. I wear then as a base layer and my mouse is safe in his merino wool house under the silk, so I don't have an issue with mouse escape. I bought these because silk is hyped as so warm, I'm sticking to lightweight merino wool for comfort and warmth. Just my 2 cents, or nickel I guess since we just discontinued pennies :). I gave them 4 stars solely on the comparison to merino wool, warmth and value.

The friend I bought this for is a PCSO and on foot and happened to be on NIGHT SHIFT when it arrived... he was OVER THE MOON (I also bought a silk snood) and that made him even warmer, with the other one on top.... What can I say... I am happy, he is happy and as he is 6'4" tall... the fact the large fit him to a T was BONUS!
