Great space
We ordered 7in mattresses off amazon for our bunk bed that were thinner, they work perfectly with this bed. Be sure when you measure your kids room that they’ll be able to slide off the slide. We didn’t consider that and for now it doesn’t work. We were already planning on re doing the closet so after that project we’ll be able to attach the slide. I love that the bottom bunk is on the floor for my toddler. Made for an easy crib to bed transition

Quality
The bed was very easy to put together! The only issue I would say is the slide itself. The bottom has a lip that can be a little painful for little feet.

Slide broke and unfinished wood
I would not suggest this as the slide broke 4 days into being built. My son is 45 lbs. it was not a hard assembly but the unfinished wood is dangerous and I usually keep my kids away from the bottom bunk so they don’t hurt themselves. We bought it because of the slide and now it has no function as the bottom bunk is splinter prone. I’m frustrated as I cannot return this easily since we are on an islad (Hawaii). This was a waste of money unfortunately
