Excellent tester for the money!

Could be better.
You would think that such a useful device for the price of over $200 would not only work with batteries but lithium or ni-cad as well and have the a/c adapter power and recharge the batteries but sadly this is not the case. Its either or with this tool.

Still working after 20 years
I have a 2003 version of the Pinger Plus+. It has served me well these many years. It even survived a battery leakage. I wonder if there are upgrades available as this is a 2003 model.
