So far so good.
So far so good. It's fast and responsive and doesn't grind to a halt with a few browser windows. We got the 32gb ram 500gb SSD drive version. It came with win 11 pro ( worth noting as it only says dos). I think it was very good value for money. The following is observation I can't fault the manufacturer for, but... We initially got started and set up with no access to WiFi. Was pleased to see it only took ~3.5gb to run with nothing else running. My experience with windows is if you have some amount of ram, it takes half of it. It booted and logged user in almost instantly. It ran the libre office quickly and well (not a fan of bloated rentware). It ran like a dream. Then we let it connect to the internet. Windows started updating, first with it's pretty pictures on the login screen. Then the reboots started. After the first it started displaying the spinning animation of doom when logging in. It started with the distractionWare (learn more about this picture) and ram usage rose to around 7gb. Left it deciding to personalise Windows for you and rebooting. It's already noticeably more sluggish. If anyone knows how to turn all that bloat and distractionware off... lots of people probably want to know.

Reliable, performant, and well worth it
This is a breath of fresh air, after my previous purchase of a mini pc (bosgame) which ended up with a memory swap, a power supply swap, and contact with support who were less than enthusiastic to help to resolve the unreliability challenges. The beelink SR8 has none of those issues. The device exudes quality, and is built well . I saw some reviews about it being difficult to get inside, however this was a piece of cake compared to the previous device I returned. Great things about the beelink 1) Its been absolutely reliable 2) 2.5gb LAN port 3) Its metal and seems to dissipated heat very well 4) Its quick 5) Decent storage onboard. 6) It works well with linux (proxmox in particular) 7) Did I mention reliability So far this has been fantastic and has now been running for just under 1 week uninterrupted, which the bosgame device never managed, and whilst the bosgame was cheaper, it's a false economy as the low quality of components in the bosgame is not a match for the beelink device, and had I bought this from the outset, I'd have saved a lot of personal time, and even cost trying to get it operational. I'd highly recommend the beelink SR8 based on my current experience, and would say it is well worth the slightly higher cost than some of the other brands selling mini-pcs, but you really do get what you pay for!

Great value for money.
It's small and lightweight. Mine came bundled with Win 11. On the front of the case: 2x USB A; 1 x USB C; Headphone socket. On the back: 2 x USB A; 2 HDMI ports; Ethernet port; Power in. Seems to perform well enough — I run Photoshop 2025 on it for example, and it handles reasonably big files okay. I haven't seen any bugs in the OS. Noise is not problematic for me personally. At the price, you really can't go wrong.

Keeps rebooting/shutting down with no warning
I have bought other Beelink min PCs with out issue, but I have bought this and then returned it for an identical one and it too has the same problem of shutting down or rebooting randomly. Also had a corrupted x64 windows file on one of them. Both have been returned and I will be looking for an alternative PC for my kids uni needs. Not worth the hassle trying to fix something which should (like my other ones) work out the box. At least Amazon returns policy is easy to navigate and get my money back.

Very fast, tiny machine. Great value.
Very happy with this tiny machine. It's extremely fast, easy to set up, takes next to no space and has enough ports for most people, although I use a powered USB3 hub for peripherals. Decent build quality at a good price. The on board graphics won't suit hard-core gamers but they're more than adequate for most tasks. With a Ryzen 7 eight core processor, 32 gb of RAM and a fast, 500gb NVIMe SSD this is great at multi-tasking and powers through demanding applications with ease. Would definitely recommend.

Keeps force-booting
A good machine but 4 or 5 times now it has just rebooted itself without warning. Possibly an issue with the power brick, but I'll have to look into the warranty.

Beelink SER5 Pro
Purchased this to replace a very old deaktop to upgrade to Windows 11. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, it is very easy to set up and get all the updates for Windows 11 pro in a couple of hours as this little machine has 32gb ram and 1 tb of storage and is super fast. It has lots of different connections including usb 3 and c. I only use it for general everyday use such as emails browsing the internet and steaming iPlayer etc. I am hoping that I won't have to upgrade for a few more years with all its ram and storage. I also got it at a great promotional price with £120 off original price.
