The case is pretty but nothing extremely special. It's a unique design and has a nice matte finish, and the design won't peel or chip. However, it won't provide a substantial amount of protection, as it it leaves a lot of the phone exposed, so if you are prone to dropping or tend to toss it into your purse I would look elsewhere. The case takes forever to ship, and I had to make a trip to the post office to sign for it, which was inconvenient and made no sense for a case that was less than $5.
