I got this as a Christmas gift from my husband. I usually go to bed before him and used to leave a light on in the room for when he came to bed. However, the light would shine in my eyes and I had a hard time falling asleep. This was his solution and it works perfectly. The light is dimmable, so you can make it as bright or as dim as you need. The colors are very pretty and the wave pattern is lovely. The light itself looks nice and doesn’t look cheap or dumb sitting on my dresser. Someone mentioned that it was noisy in a review, but mine is silent—I hear absolutely nothing when it is on. It allows me to fall asleep and yet is bright enough for my husband to see to get ready for bed. My only wish would be that it had a timer or would work with Alexa so I could set it and it would turn off automatically after a period of time. But, the remote makes it easy to control.

If you've ever thought of turning your bedroom into an underwater sanctuary, but realized you still would like to breathe, this is the lamp for you. It has numerous color options and is honestly silent in its operation. While it is made of wood and plastic, it looks nice and the effects are mesmerizing. My kids have it in their underwater themed room. They want it on every night. The only drawback is that it doesn't dim at all on the color changing settings.

It’s cool and just what I needed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it turns on randomly for no reason which is weird.

I immediately opened this to check it when I received it because, as stated in my title, it was thrown over our 6ft tall fence because our new mail carrier is incompetent. This was shipped in just its manufacturers box, placed inside another, larger box so I was worried it was broken. It was not! It was still in perfect condition and when hooked up worked perfectly. It has vivid colors and creates a wonderful water reflection pattern across the ceiling and walls. The remote allows for one color to be chosen or for different, multi-color oscillating patterns at different speeds to be chosen. I wasn't able to check it in a fully dark room, but I had it sitting on the floor and the pattern was still showing clearly on our ceiling. When it is running it has almost no noticeable sound and is quieter than I expected it to be. My only gripe, if you can call it that, is that it is very bright, so if you want to sleep with it on your nightstand but are bothered by bright light sources you might have trouble with it close by. Not a deal breaker by any means, but something to think about. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and I think he'll be quite pleased with it overall.

I love this light! It’s lightweight and sturdy. I have dropped it several times and it hasn’t affecting its function. Creates beautiful water patterns on the ceiling. I like that you can dim the colors. The cord isn’t very long so I use an extension cord. The remote control works well.

I have bought 2 so far. The first quit making the wave and the second quit working 3 days after the return date ended. They are junk

Lights up a room nicely. Not like bright, but just a cool ambience. Love the color options as well. It is fairly small, but it functions as expected. Really, the lighting effects are very neat.
