Look, you're buying a "healthy" noodle, so you already know it's not going to be top tier instant noodles, but for what it is, it's pretty good. I like the high protein and the low sodium. I'll be honest, if you're solely looking for a low calorie alternative to traditional ramen, I'd say go for Shin Light. The calories are comparable for a much tastier product. But if you are wanting low sodium, this does the trick just fine. The noodles are really where you can tell a difference. They've got more bite than a traditional noodle, so I'd recommend the full cook time. Speaking of, that is 10 minutes, which is much longer than you'd expect for ramen, so that's a factor. Flavor of this broth is pretty good. I'd go so far as to say it's better than instant chicken top ramen or maruchan, which I thought was impressive given the fact that this is a low sodium product. It IS filling, which I appreciate. As you can tell from the pictures I included, I jazzed mine up. I'm dieting, so having high volume low-calorie foods helps me a lot. I cooked some zucchini noodles in with the ramen and added some shredded cabbage in the last minute of cooking. I added some egg whites for extra protein, and I also added about a tsp of gochujang, the juice of one lime, and some green onions and culantro for flavor. (I'd do this with any ramen, for the record. I like having veggies in mine and lime juice is my fave in ramen.) So, I recommend trying it. As I said, if low cal is your only concern, Shin Light is better, but for low sodium and with the additional fiber and protein, this really isn't bad. It's a bit pricey, but if you have the occasional ramen craving, having this on hand is good.

I purchased the Black Garlic "Chicken". I really wanted to love this, or at least like it, as is. I'm used to plant-based food, but I'm afraid the texture is strange and so is the taste. I didn't care for it until I added some plant-based chicken nuggets and now I like it. There was no bad smell and it was packaged very well. I may even reinstate the subscription.

Son loves the taste. Hope they get to use less sodium.

I bought some, brought in by the promise of "6g net carbs", as I am trying to go low-carb with my diet. Unfortunately, claiming "net carbs" by subtracting the carbs of dietary fiber is still a food industry marketing tactic that has fuzzy science behind it (Look up "net carbs" on the WebMD website). It doesn't matter if the carbs in a serving of IMMI ramen are lower than normal ramen. The calories per serving are the same (310 for IMMI, 320 for regular ramen). So IMMI Ramen is not a license to eat ramen. If you don't exercise and burn off those 310 calories, the effects would be the same as if you ate the regular ramen. I'll give props to IMMI for the attempt. It wasn't bad. But the texture was not the same, and the bite wasn't the same as normal ramen. It was a little gritty compared to regular ramen. For my money, if I'm going to expend my carbs and calorie budget in something, then I want it all. I might as well just enjoy real ramen once in a blue moon, than settle for ramen that doesn't really satisfy my ramen experience and leaves me a little disappointed.

Miracle noodles, from the conjac yam root, were such a let down that I almost passed on these. I’m glad I didn’t because I think Immi noodles are pretty darn good. I didn’t give 5 stars due to the price, not because of the product itself, full disclosure. I read both opinions in the reviews and took advice from them and here’s what I did; Boiled on high for 10 minutes, drained all the water, added 1.5 cups chicken broth (it was garlic chicken flavor ramen) the flavor packet, soy, teriyaki and sweet chili sauce, back in the stove at medium heat for 5 minutes, pour in a bowl and topped with a slice of cheese. I was anxious about the texture but it was nothing like the conjac noodles. It was like al dente but not sticking in your back teeth, the noodles are soft (I may boil them 5 more minutes in water next time) but they don’t hold the sauce well, not a big deal though. It was a big relief to bite into them and just enjoy the texture and flavor. These will not be for everyone, but they are worlds better than conjac noodles. I’m happy with these and I will buy them again and I understand why they cost more, I just hope enough people buy them and keep these folks in business.
