Good ice tray for large cubes.

I’ve had several sizes of these, this is my favorite size. I make ginger, turmeric, and lemon ice cubes to add to my smoothies. Freezing them makes a lot of sense because preparing these three items in the small quantities that I use daily would be time-consuming. Very d urable

These are great and have steel in the upper edge so you can fill them and not spill water.

I finally wore out my old set and settled on these. When I first looked at these, I thought the black part wouldn't hold up. They seemed a little flimsy but they are holding up just fine! The top part (edge) is stiff, so carry them holding the top. If you fill them a little too much, just make sure you push them straight up and they won't give you a problem.

Silicon trays are great, the reinforced rim definitely helps maintain stability. The ice cubes are easy to remove. I'm using these to cool tea for Kombucha brewing, so I pre-boil the water to sterilize. The fact that this is all silicon means I can pour in boiling water and freeze it directly, giving me sterile ice cubes. That's a big plus over plastic, which couldn't handle the heat. Also, getting the cubes out is really easy because the silicon is so malleable, you just poke it out, the silicon tray collapses, the cube slides right out, then the tray pops back into shape for the next batch. The cover is an extra nice touch, especially for sterilization-conscious people like me.

I think these trays are great. They’re easy to use, I really like how their covers soft-snap all the way around the tray’s edge to prevent leaks. It’s easy to push the cubes out. Nice cubes.My only concern is that you do have to push cubes out, and when a tray cube is inside out from pushing out ice, the bottom corners show a white color, like a stretch/strain color. I suggest trying not to fully invert the form as you push out ice, but it seems like you often have to in order to get the cube out. If the corners spring holes, that’ll be it for the tray.
