FootJoy Golf Premiere Series Field LX Shoes

I bought a pair of a previous version of these tour 360 golf shoes in summer of 2021. I’ve played probably 600 rounds of golf in them since then and they are very comfortable. These do not feel like dress shoes, they feel more like athletic shoes. They have great support, do not feel squishy and have very good traction. The water resistance of that previous version was very good, played lots of rounds in wet conditions or in the rain and never had soggy feet. Even walking through shallow water plenty of times, never had an issue of water intrusion. This new version is slightly different than those. They have a slightly longer toe but still plenty of toe box width. They’re snug in the heel and midfoot without being too snug in the toe box. They also have a fabric lining in the heel cup rather than the previous soft leather lining. The leather lining did tear and roll eventually but that was after many, many miles of walking and the pretty intense forces involved in a golf swing. I don’t know how well the fabric heel cup will hold up compared to the leather one, it might be better. The previous version I have were the most comfortable shoes I’ve had for walking miles carrying a bag. I probably walked a couple thousand miles in that version carrying my bag and never had sore feet. I just got these new ones and haven’t played in them yet but they feel just as comfortable and sturdy and I’m sure I’ll have them for years as well.

I love these shoes but since I went with the wide fit they are a little wide in the heel. Good looking and decent traction

Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Ordered three different sizes to make sure I got the right fit given FJ’s strange sizing. The shoes arrived just before I left town for a couple week work trip. After getting back and trying them on, I loved the fit of the one and went to return the two others only to find that the return window had closed two days earlier. No big deal, right? I’m sure we can get this sorted out. Wrong. Five hours of customer service calls led to “nothing we can do to help.” Now I’m stuck with $500 worth of shoes that don’t fit and a wasted day on the phone with customer service. Incredibly disappointing even though I actually love the pair that fits. All of that overshadowed by the lack of flexibility on the seller’s end.

I bought these as a gift for my hubby to honor his hole-in-one. He's been golfing for over 30 years and has owned tons of golf shoes. He says that these are the most comfortable that he had ever owned. They are easy to clean and match nicely with all of his outfits. He golfs 5 to 7 days a week and only wears these now. They are worth the price.

The outsole separated from the midsole the first month of wearing them. The warranty department agreed to remedy the situation by replacing them but notified me that the Field LX were on backorder for 3 months even though they are in stock on Footjoy.com. I had the option to either wait the 3 months or choose a different style. I chose to wait since The Field LX are the only Footjoy shoes that fit me properly. I checked in with the warranty department a month later and they notified me that the shoes are actually on backorder for 6 months, not 3. So now I'm out a pair of $219 shoes that fell apart in a month and Footjoy refuses to reimburse me my money nor will they replace them with a pair from their website. This is easily the worst customer service I've ever dealt with

Very comfortable which is surprising. The sole split after 10 rounds but FootJoy is sending a replacement pair. We’ll see how long these ones last.
