Works great
I'm setting up a live stream camera and I want to run it through the wall so I want a clean look. The output of the hdmi is going to the back. I will have a network switch inside the ceiling which will power the camera. The extra Ethernet port will be to connect a ptz controller to it. I should buy a 3 port keystone so in case the WiFi is not working, the user could connect their computer directly to the LAN so they won't have to worry about things not communicating properly, but it's not required in this case because all you need from the camera is an HDMI output plugged into a atem mini pro or some HDMI to USB capture device. The RJ45 Ethernet jack is really just for the ptz controller to communicate throughout the LAN to the camera.

Clean and Professional Wall Setup for HDMI & Cat6 Connections
The VCE Cat6 and HDMI Wall Plate is a great way to keep home theater and network wiring organized and professional-looking. I installed this in my media room, and it provides a clean finish without messy cables running along the walls. The gold-plated HDMI port supports 4K resolution, and I haven’t noticed any signal loss or lag when streaming or gaming. The Cat6 Ethernet port ensures a fast and stable network connection, making it perfect for wired internet setups. The UL-listed fire-retardant material adds peace of mind for safety. Installation was simple—it fits standard electrical boxes, and the snap-in keystone jack design made connecting the Cat6 cable hassle-free. The HDMI passthrough works smoothly without needing extra adapters. One small thing to note: Make sure you have enough space behind the wall for the HDMI cable, as some thicker cables might need a bit of maneuvering. And here’s a quick joke: Why did the Ethernet cable break up with Wi-Fi? Because it needed a more stable connection! Overall, the VCE Cat6 and HDMI Wall Plate is a high-quality, easy-to-install solution for home theater and network setups. It provides a sleek, clutter-free look while delivering strong performance and reliability.

Good for the price
These are plastic and are not high quality, but for the price they are great. Just know what you are getting. I would not use these in applications where there will be constant plugging and unplugging. I doubt they will stand up. For me, it was a set it and likely not touch it for a year, so no worries. Be careful when installing and you will be fine.

Standard Keystone size
Don't get hung up on the dimensions in the listing, they are irrelevant. The keystones are standard size, and can be popped out and replaced with whatever standard keystone from ICC, Leviton, etc. I ran bulk CAT6 cable through my wall, and rather than crimp on an RJ45 connector I simply popped out the Ethernet keystone and put a punch-down type keystone in its place. Much easier to wire. But you could also put an RCA jack keystone instead if you wanted to run a coax digital audio cable, or put two HDMI keystones on the same plate, etc.
