These swivel, quick disconnect boat seat mounts are sturdy, easy to install and work like a charm. I would highly recommend them.

I recently purchased the Leader Accessories Quick Disconnect Seat Mount with Boat Seat Swivel (2 Sets) with the hope of making it easier for my mom to fish off the bow of our pontoon boat. While the concept is great and the swivel section was straightforward to install using the hardware provided with our boat seat, the experience has been quite frustrating overall.Firstly, it is important to note that the necessary hardware for the installation of the base section is not included in the package. This has been a significant issue for me. Despite multiple trips to hardware stores and trying various bolts, I have not yet found the right ones that fit properly to secure the base. This lack of included hardware and the difficulty in finding compatible bolts has made the installation process unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming.The quick disconnect feature and the swivel mechanism themselves seem to be well-designed and function smoothly, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I believe that had the correct hardware been provided, the installation would have been much simpler, and I could have enjoyed the full benefits of this product without the current hassle.In summary, while the Leader Accessories Quick Disconnect Seat Mount with Boat Seat Swivel has potential due to its good design and functionality, the omission of essential hardware for the base is a major drawback. This oversight has caused considerable frustration, and I am still unable to complete the installation. I hope the manufacturer addresses this issue in future versions of the product.Edit: I finally found the right hardware and was able to install the swivels. Due to hole placement, I had to use a screwdriver and hammer to tap the bolts into place on two of the holes.

Good product

Used these to replace old seat mounts on my boat. Delivery was fast. Installation was easy. However these tend to stick when you try to remove the seat bottoms. This is rectified through adjustment of the screws along the top. Once you get it dialed in, they work well. Good value for the price.

The receiver base appears to be designed to accommodate more than one size of chair swivel. It is wide enough to allow the swivel to get cocked in the slide out channel. This will cause you great frustration as you fight to get the chair loose from the receiver. On the sides there are opposing flat, L-shaped retainer plates that are screwed into the plastic base. It is important to loosen the screws that hold them on, and move these plates out a tiny bit, say 1/16" on each side of the base. If they are tightened flush with the outside of the plastic base, they will interfere with the swivel and prevent an easy removal from the receiver because of too much friction.You will need to purchase your own mounting hardware.
