Great buy.
Bought this for my husband. Did not know that I was going to have to shave him when he was in the hospital. It works really well and the quality if there. He loves it and I really liked using it when I had to.

Close shave
This is a great electric razor at a good price compared with the $2-300.dollar razors,I’ve been using a manscaped razor for a year that takes as long as shaving with a hand razor and was noisy and impossible to get a close shave with. I hesitated to buy a single foil blade razor but the reviews were good so i ordered it it’s a close shave that lasts all day unlike my other razor that i had to shave twice a day with.;it’s worth every penny

Decent shave for the money
I've had this shaver for about 2 months now and the self cleaning stand is kinda neat although I'm not sure how effective it really is. I prefer to pull the shaver head off and clean it in the sink. Also when the self cleaning fluid tank is depleted I'm definitely not spending money on a new one. I'll probably get a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water and put it in the tank instead. In my opinion, the beauty of an electric shaver is that your not blowing money on consumables every week, if I'm buying cleaning fluid then it defeats that purpose. Anyway, on to how it actually shaves. I'm comparing this to my old 3 headed norelco shaver which shaves in a more random pattern vs this one shaves in a vertical pattern. On my cheeks and moustache area where the hair grows straight up and down, it shaves amazing, hands down beats everything. It barely loses to an actual razor here. On the neck beard area is where this shaver starts to struggle. Since my beard on my neck grows in a more random pattern than my cheeks, this shaver struggles. It takes a long time to shave my neck. My old norelco had an easier time handling the neck but neither come close to shaving the way a razor blade does here. Would I buy it again? Probably not but then again after my experiences with electric shavers, I feel like most are all about the same. I think when this unit dies I'll probably pick up a $60 norelco shaver from any supermarket and just run that. I think the big thing to do, is make sure that you find a unit with replacement shaver heads that are affordable.

Great attachments
This is a great shaver with some nice attachments. I love the “stubble” option with multiple blade covers for different stubble lengths. Highly recommended.

Now, new and improved with more plastic parts and less power than ever!
I've been a lifelong Braun shaver. It was the first one my father got me back in high school, and that's what I bought for my boys when they started shaving. My dermatologist had told me to make sure to get a Braun because it was best for skin. Well, my relationship with Braun is now ended. But I didn't break up with them, nor would I ever have. They dumped me, right along with the rest of the American public. P&G bought the company, hiked the prices, raised the series number to make it seem like the new models are improvements over the prior lower end, took out all of the metal parts and replaced them with plastic, and to top it off powered down the motors to 24,000 cutting actions per minute in the Series 6 from 40,000 in the old Series 5 I had to replace. On the outside of the box and unit, it seems as premium as ever, and is priced as such. But it's garbage now, not able to compete in shaving performance against the $20 AA battery powered travel models. Mr. Braun must be rolling in his grave. Let me leave you with two key words, unless you want to spend quadruple the time you are accustomed to accomplishing a shave, and then needing to replace your shaver again in a shorter timespan than ever before: Stay. Away.

Close Shave
This is a preliminary review of the Braun Series 6 6075cc after first shave. I purposely let my beard grow for 48 hours in anticipation of receipt of the razor on June 16th. After delivery, I looked forward to reading the instructions, but to my dismay, what I received was 2 instruction booklets: One for the razor and the other for the cleaning stand, that had no typed instructions, just pictures. I have bad eyesight and I can read printed type simply by using a magnifying glass. But, no amount of magnifying made the pictures any more understandable. No instructions on which way the razor should be inserted into the cleaning station. No instructions on how long the first charge should be! No instructions on how to register the product. I finally found a picture in the Charging section that had 1H on a picture of a clock. I then assumed that all charges would be for 1 hour. I then found that the razor went into the cleaning station only one way. I have yet to find out if the product can be registered. I placed the razor into the charging station and pressed the button on top. The cleaning station whirred for a while and then was quiet. I came back an hour later and started my first shave. I splashed some pre-shave on my beard and started shaving. To my delight, the razor cut through my 2 day stubble quicker than my old Series 7 and closer and smoother. My only real complaint is that after cleaning/charging, the razor head is full of cleaning liquid that drips out. I had my old Series 7 for over 15 years, so let's see how long this one lasts. Update; The charging stand, model 5439, was not in the box.
