2 sachets of McDonnells Spice Bag Classic Flavour Seasoning Mix 40g each

We love to get spice bags in Ireland when we visit and wish they were at take away in the states. Until they are this seasoning works when we have a craving. I use frozen chicken strips and potatos that I air fry first and it turns out well every time. One pack makes enough for my family of 5 for dinner.

As an American who recently discovered Spice Bag in Dublin, I needed to be able to make this at home. I looked everywhere, and this was the product that I found was most recommended for my purposes. I was able, after a bit of time and effort, to recreate this mix based on using and tasting this. Despite having figured out the ratios/spices, I still will be buying this again as a back up for when I don't want to bother mixing it all myself. My order arrived when it was supposed to, in the condition it was expected to be in, and it tasted amazing. The packaging has fairly good instructions on how to actually make the dish, but to a bit of looking and decide how you want to proceed. I personally like to use buttermilk, hotsauce + the spice mix in my batter, but there are other options. This mix will fit the bill no matter which way you go. Cannot recommend the product more, and the seller was quick and professional.

This is the genuine article - but is priced expensively for what it is. Price in Ireland in eg Tesco store is $1.70 per sachet - so $3.40 for two of them Still, it really is tasty -- and can get approx 3 meals out of the 2 sachets in total. Nice for a treat but maybe not a regular grocery item - given that it is just an add- on.

This stuff is amazing! I didn’t hold high hopes, but 🤯 so good! Can’t wait to try it with the curry sauce.

Expensive, yea, but worth it

This original blend immediately brings me back to Dublin and Galway Ireland for the delicious spice bags we enjoyed there. The flavor absolutely perfect compared to what we had in the restaurants. Each mix sachets makes multiple bags. I highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic flavor at home.

If you’ve ever been to Dublin and got a takeaway from your local Chinese restaurant, you may have come across the curious “Spice Bag” on the menu. A hot and spicy concoction involving chicken, chips, and more secret herbs and spices than what the Colonel has to offer, it is truly a Dublin original. Now you can make your own Spice Bag at home and if you close your eyes you just might hear the gentle “ching ching” sound as the Luas passes you by. The packs of Spice Bag Mix say serves 2, but I put only a small sprinkle on the meal I was making, because I know how potent it can be. It was a good thing I did, because my head blew clean off, and it was only a glass of milk that was able to put out the fire. Delicious! There’s full instructions on the packet for making your own Spice Bag, but we made up our own version (sans chips), using diced chicken breast pieces, onions, garlic, peppers, and a few other random veg. We mixed it all up with a sprinkle of Spice Bag Mix and baked it in the oven until everything was cooked through. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and most heartily recommend you buy this.

Tastes ok, easy to use. Now most things are air fryer friendly you can make your own take away without deep frying.

What a concoction of spice , flavour is amazing, follow the recipe

This is fantastic but you really only need a small amount! We cooked up a 2 bags of chicken goujons and battered squid, and a whole bad of curly fries and it was too salty, so I'd recommend adding a little and tasting rather than dumping the whole bag in! Would easily cover two or three uses!
