Nice shallower style cake/brownie pan. Does scratch easy when I knife Is used. Cooks evenly and lid fits on well.

PERFECT

I am not a big fan of non-stick coated cookware. But it does have a place, especially for sticky dishes and acid foods. This pan does what I needed it to do and is solid enough that I can use it without too much worry. The cover is solid, fits well, and is essential for transporting or storing food in the refrigerator.It is unfortunate that I know the non-stick will get scratched, start to flake off, and I'll need to replace it after a couple of years. Even with hand washing and using wood or plastic utensils the coating will fail. Never owned non-stick coated cookware of any kind that didn't fail. That's why I bought this one, the coating on my old one was flaking off.I knew that when I bought it so I can't reduce the rating because of it.Note that it is fairly shallow so isn't the correct pan for making deep lasagna or thick cinnamon rolls, at least if you plan on covering them with the lid.

I had a baking pan this size for years that came with a fitted rack for baking small roasts, pork tenderloin, etc.Over the years, my old pan rusted and I had been unable to find another one with a rack like it. Since my old rack is still in good shape, I started looking for a pan that would be the right size to hold the rack securely. I am pleased that this pan fits it perfectly and is almost identical to my original pan. I hope it holds up better over multiple uses, but time will tell....which is why I did not give it more stars. The jury is still out on whether it will rust or not.

This combination of pan and cover is perfect for making "upside down" cakes. I just bake the cake and then use the cover for the base to turn the cake onto.
