I needed three shades of red and I got it by mixing the red pigment, the concrete and the water. I just calculated the right amount of red for each color shade. Review: Great value and super strong. The video of the stones I submitted...that red one has about 1/4 cup of the red into 60lb bag. Great product

The pigment arrived in a timely manner (I live in Alaska.) and met all expections. Good red color with little or no fading. I am pouring my own paving stones (concrete) and producing colors you can't buy at Lowes or HD. I have made about 400 so far and using the yellow, green, and red pigments have produced quite a mixture of colors that all go together when distributed randomly!!

Wear gloves. Stains. Nice color.

This was the only affordable option for colouring my concrete countertop. I have to say that the colour was difficult to predict--the iron oxide dust changes color completely when mixed into concrete, as expected. The initial colour after pouring the concrete was different too, as was the dried concrete. At this stage, mixed at 2 pounds per bag, the concrete looks a bit like terra cotta clay. but when polished, it gets somewhat darker, but still fairly orange.
