AMAZING time saver - No more wire nuts!
I previously used the 4 conductor version, and thought "Hey, in junction boxes with 4 existing sets of cables, it'd be nice to be able to add something to the bunch without needing two of these 4 conductor connectors..." So I bought these!I've been going around my home replacing light switches with smart light switches that are either Z wave or at least motion activated, for bathrooms and laundry rooms.Today I was working on one such room, and in my junction box, there were 4 nuetrals wired together. The pigtail that came with the switch was either 16 or 18 gauge (i'm not super familiar), very small, and I didn't want to try and work it around all of these pre-twisted 12 gauge strands. So, I straightened everything out and shoved them all into this 6 conductor connector, and it worked very well! Saved me a lot of effort, and ensured everything connected well. With them not all being twisted up, it's also a lot easier to reposition the location of this nut inside the junction box when I put everything back in.All in all - I realized I left a teensy amount of conductor bare on the ends of these because I didn't shorten the wires after straightening them, but everything turned out looking very good and saved me a lot of time putting in this new switch. I love these connectors, if you're considering getting them, get an assortment! You'll be happy about it later!

These are must-haves if you do electrical work
If you're considering buying these, chances are, you're no stranger to the level of effort required in doing electrical work in junction boxes. How many times have you had to open a wall plate because a switch doesn't work anymore; only to find a jungle of electrical wires jammed in a small area tied together with those electrical caps? Let me tell you, I've done my fair share and it's a pain each and every time having to deal with those screw caps which either come undone, or some nitwit wrapped electrical tape around the bundle to keep it secured. These push conductors are the next best thing to sliced bread. The form factor is small, they grip those solid copper wires like the jaws of life and you never have to worry about wires getting loose. I have replaced almost all the wall switches in my home with smart switches and these little gifts from the heavens have saved me so much time and kept my knuckles and fingers from being scraped thanks to concept of pushing in a wire and calling it a day. No twisting, no cursing, not throwing tantrums. These push connectors are awesome. Thank you Wago for creating these because you have truly made life easier for me.

Safe, Compact, Convenient
Replacing simple switches with smart switches is more convenient when on can use these small connectors instead of twisting a bunch of wires into a large wire nut. Some say these are a fire hazard. Look at videos on Youtube showing these taking 60Amps of current (well able the stated limit of 20Amps). In the videos the wire coating smoldered but the wire connector did not burn.I found these to be easy to use and easy to verify I had a good connection. And I had enough room to put the wires back into the traditional electricians coil with ground, neutral, hot, and traveler ordering as well as the much deeper insulated smart plug case.Remember that whereas a wire nut can be removed and retightened when using stranded wire, these connectors much be removed and replaced for stranded wire. If one is using solid wire, then the connect can safely be removed and reused. So plan well when connecting them. Use the traditional electricians coiling techniques (same technique they use to prepare the wires during the rough in, prior to the drywall work).

Good single-use Wago
Remember these aren't the reusable Wagos. Once you push the wire in, it's not coming out. So give yourself a bit of extra wire if you think you might have to redo your connection later on for whatever reason. But they do the job just fine.

So Far - So Good...
I've never used this type of push-in wire connector before, although I've seen them used in the trade by others with mixed success. I finally decided to give it a try with a remodeling job where I had a lot of connections in several boxes and little room. Here's my experience:Wires must be stripped to the proper length. This is much more critical than with twist connectors (wire nuts). Too short and they won't make proper connection since they may not be able to insert fully, too long and you will have exposed bare wire which could make contact with other conductors or the box and equipment metal. Improper length is likely the main problem that people have had. The wire appears to make good contact inside the connector and the clear plastic allows you to see that (or if you need to push more wire in).You still need nearly as much free wire penetrating from the box. The two-wire connectors are easy to get aligned, but the multiple connectors need the wire length so you can get them pushed into the connector straight in and without bending the wire. I was unable to do this without using pliers except for the two-wire connectors, although with more experience it may become simpler. So unless you are really experienced, these are probably not faster. The real benefit is that (except for the two-wire connectors) these push-in connectors take much less room in the box, especially considering that with twist-type connectors, the wires must be all lined up parallel with each other for an inches or two before entering the connector. More than a couple of twist connectors containing three or more wires each and you are soon fighting for more box space. With these push-in connectors, each wire can bend in a different direction as soon as it leaves the conector.A final note. Removing solid wire from these connectors is easy: just rotate the wire while pulling it out. Stranded wires must be cut and the connector discarded and replaced.Amazon had the best price for the types that I needed, but if you only need a couple, you may be able to get a small selection from Lowes or Home Depot immediately and at less cost.
