In the kit you get a handle, 8 blades, tube of cream, and protective cover which fits securely over the blade on the handle. There is an insert with a QR code to a video, which is unsurprisingly not very graphic, bloke wearing boxer shorts, performing some very vague motions to show you the sort of general direction to proceed. It's important to know that you really need to have an electric hair trimmer and get rid of as much as you can with that beforehand, at least on the first go. If you are doing it regularly then you can skip that step. Having only used electric trimmers before in that area, I was a bit nervous using steel blades, given the contours which are rather different to one's face and the difficulty of seeing clearly what you are doing. This kit is quite good though, decent lubricating cream and good sharp blade with the flexibility of movement in the head and managed to use it without cutting myself. I'm quite impressed. The price for the kit is quite hefty, but this is pretty much par for the course with Gillette these days when you're paying over 4 quid per head for their best heads, plus the handle and a decent size tube of cream.

Did research for a 'value for money' razor. Have tried most on the market; always some reservations, though never had a one or two star. Found Gillette to be the best, but not superior enough to justify the price. So, tried Bic and, so far, have found them the best: shaves closely without ripping. And, so far as my research has revealed, the cheapest. Highly recommended.

The Gillette Intimate Men’s Pubic Razor Set arrived well packaged and as described. The Razor Set I received looks just like the photos advertised. Gillette has a long standing positive reputation for producing high quality razors blades and this one in no exception. I picked this up for shaving down below as I often find other blades drag or cut the skin. These blades provide a perfect close shave without the issues I mentioned above. The shaving gel helps soften the skin and provide an effortless shave each and every time. I also really appreciate that the razor has a single blade at the top of the razor to allow you to be very precise when shaping areas or getting hard to reach areas that a multi-blade just wouldn’t reach. Although this is advertised for an intimate shave I have used this razor on my face and neck and it worked perfectly without causing any razor bumps or irritation. Great product for a fantastic price, especially considering you get 8 blades, a shaving gel and a razor cap which makes it perfect for travelling with. I highly recommend 👍

One part of me sees this as Gillette yet again presenting a slightly different cartridge for a purported different requirement (the "neck razor" anyone?), but having used this for a few days as a head razor I've found it to be an outstanding sensitive choice. Used with the bundled shave cream, the glide is awesome, cut super close and irritation absolutely non-existent. I usually swap between Fusion 5 and Labs for head shaving, but this one has fairly blown both out of the water. (As always, the performance of a traditional DE razor with a well-chosen blade would always be preferable, but I personally don't have the skill, patience or nerve to head shave with one of those, so cartridges it is, and this particularly cartridge from now on.) I haven't, and probably won't, use it on the intended area but would trust that it would perform well. All that said, the price feels very high, even with the generous bundle of accessories, so half a star knocked off for that. Otherwise, surprisingly brilliant stuff. 4.5 stars

This is a great razor for keeping things clean. It comes with a decently impressive accessory set including eight refills for your razor, so you won't need to replenish the pricey razors for a good while. Of course it's Gillette which means it's very expensive for what it is, but in this instance it does have the quality to back it up. The shave is very close and thanks to the included shave cream it's comfortable and prevents (most) irritation and razor burn. My skin is very sensitive but this set has been kind to it, which I appreciate. Normally I stick to cheaper brands that aren't Gillette but after trying this out I think I may have to convert. The prices are high but there's that good old saying: "buy cheap, buy twice".. so maybe i'll just have to see whether the grass is greener on this side of the fence. Recommended!

I was interested in buying the Gillette electric razor. Normally on Amazon if you have a second box to click on its for the same product but slightly different. For example a choice of different colours or sizes. I wrongly believed that this second box was for the trimmer plus a razor for an extra £10. Reading the reviews the also referred to the electric trimmer. Turned out it was £40 just for a plastic razor and some blades! Totally had over by Gillette with misleading marketing and rip off product. Amazon said the item was not eligible for return, so they stitched me up too. Referred me to Gillette tech support and then had the cheek to send an email asking how I got on. Well, I didn't get on because my contract is with you Amazon! Buyer beware.
