KIWI design Charging Dock for Meta Quest 3S/3/2/Pro, Vertical Charging Stand, Accessories Made for Meta

I bought a Quest 3 over the Holidays and it has changed my life. Another story. This item? The KIWI design Charging Dock is such a great piece of kit. It nicely displays my Quest and controllers, while also keeping my headset charged! The magnetic-tip USB-C connector is such amazing design. When I lay my headset back on this stand, the charging cable just auto-snaps into place and the headset begins charging. This item just seems like one of those 'must have' Quest 3 accessories. Affordable, great looking, wonderfully functional, and a true user convenience. This is a must-have accessory. Design evolution suggestion: add a small battery cup that can hold 2-4 AA batteries for the controllers. That would be a very cool user-friendly add-on to this otherwise great work of industrial design.

Quality, utility, and ease of use is great. Works with basic headset. To use battery pack add on, I suggest a short magnetic charging cable.

Update: Just about six weeks after receiving these docking stations one quite charging. It's out of the 30 day window to return, so that's not an option. Thought it might be due to the fact that the battery on the headset was below 5% when I docked it, but I tried charging the headset at 45% and 54% battery charge remaining. I dock it and the charging light comes on, but the next morning there is no green light indicating charged. As a matter of fact there is no charging light on at all. I've tried it 5 different times, but no success. I just use it as a stand now and plug OEM charging cable directly into the headset. What a bummer, cause I've really gotten to like KIWI products. I purchase two of these KIWI docking stations, one for my Meta Quest 3 headset and my wife's. Just to note, both headsets have been retrofitted with the KIWI comfort head strap. They were very professionally packaged and I had them put together within 15 minutes. I really like the split magnetic charging connection between the docking station and the headset. The short piece can stay with the headset as you use it and the long piece stays with the dock. Once you are done using the headset, you just clean/sanitize the headset and place in on the charging dock. The two magnets automatically come together and the headset starts charging. You place your controllers in the slots on each side of the dock, making everything look very organized. The RGB lights are a cool added feature. Since I had installed the KIWI comfort head straps on the Quest 3's, I can't speak to how well the Meta Quest 3 will rest on the docking station with the original OEM head strap. But if you have the KIWI comfort head strap, you won't be disappointed.

The base is heavy and sturdy, not much chance of it sliding around your desk. The LEDs look great and the unit has an all around nice design. The magnetic power connector works like a charm. I've purchased several KIWI products for my Meta 3 over the last month and have been happy with all of them. Update: 2/24/24 A few days after receiving my charging dock my cat decided I wasn't giving her enough attention and decided to chew on the magnetic docking cable. I reached out to KIWI Customer Service to see If I could purchase a replacement cable and was perfectly happy to pay for the replacement and shipping. I was pleasantly surprised when Alin, The CS rep I was in contact with said they would ship out a replacement at no charge. It was shipped with a tracking number withing a day or so but due to no fault of theirs, it got hung up/lost in shipping just an hour away from my home. It sat in a shipping depot for almost a month with no movement. Again I contacted Alin to see if there was any contact info they had on the shipping company. I was informed that the package seemed to be lost and that another cable would be shipped out immediately and of course two days after the second cable was shipped the original package arrived... KIWI went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Great customer service. Will definitely look to them first for future accessory purchases.

seems great so far. Just wishing I could also charge controllers with this too but it wasn't described as such either. Update: 2/15/25 - seems to not be fully charging my headset. I plugged in the stand to wall. Pretty lights all light up goin around the perimeter. I plugged in the charging "cable to stand and headset and left overnight. Next day only 43% charged?? I had not been using it for a few days , letting my Annapro headset charge it instead. I switched back to the Kiwi stand to see if it would charge faster with the stand charging the headset and the Annapro charging by itself. That's when I found the headset not to be fully charging with the Kiwi stand. I have noticed the charging light not coming on the headset but I think that's a different issue from what I've read. Other players have had that issue so not blaming that on the Kiwi but, in this case, the less than 100% charge may mean the absence of the light was due to no charging taking place. Will update later if I determine its not the Kiwi but so far looks like its just not charging. update 2/17/25 - checked this morning and no charging from this stand to my quest 3 head set. No light to indicate it was charging either. So...a really expensive display stand is what I have I guess. :-( Going to remove a star. Update 3/3/25. Seller is working with me to try to get the thing working by sending me another cable. Adding a star back for the rating. update 3/825 - seller has really worked hard to try and resolve my issue. They even sent me a replacement cable to fix my stand. Adding a star back to my rating.
