BEST NIGHT HYDRATING PRODUCT IVE EVER USED! I’m an African American 44yr old woman with dry sensitive skin. I’ve always taken care of my skin since I was age 21! SOON as I turned 40 years old my skin went crazy! It got extremely dry in my t-zone area, but I have oily eyelids and nose. This past year my skin has gotten extremely sensitive. I am starting to get hormonal acne as well. Which has left me with a little hyperpigmentation from acne scars. I have been trying EVERYTHING to combat my dry skin and it has been giving me the flux! So an aesthetician introduced me to Dermalogica in 2013, they were PHENOMENAL and I used it for about two years and stopped just because I wanted to “try”other products. Boy was that dumb! So about two months ago now that my skin has lost its mind, I started back on Dermalogica Products. I bought the normal to dry skin care kit and that changed my skin immediately. However it Still wasn’t quite hydrated enough. So I purchase the cocoon because I Read the reviews here on Amazon and people said it works great. So I promise you I’ve used it nearly every single night since I purchased it and my skin has drastically changed. In about 4/5 DAYS I saw much improvement!!! My skin now is very well hydrated and VERY SUPPLE!!! In fact the reason that I am reviewing this is because I am re-ordering it! It’s been two months and I am not out of it yet, but that’s the POINT! I do not want to run out of this product it’s just that amazing! My skin loves it! If you have dry, aging skin , Then definitely purchase this it works! I use about 2/3 pumps on my face & neck every night. I make sure that I cleanse my face literally right before I get in bed, because the smell is so divine it literally knocks me out! So I’m not sure how this works for Caucasian women or Asian women but I do know that this is amazing for African-American skin. This stuff is kind of pricey but I’m obsessed with it. I love the smell, it hydrates my skin, and I really do think it helps me sleep more soundly.

This is a great, non greasy, light, yet creamy night cream.

I’ve been using this product for years now and I still enjoy it every night. After I’m done applying I cuff my hands together, place them over my nose and take a deep breath in, the smell is a relaxing blend of essential oils meant to be smelled. I do wish the packaging was different, but the product is perfect.

While I think this product is insanely expensive it worked. I seriously didn't think it would help my sleep. I have tried lavender before. Not much happened but there are other Essential oils in it. Ah, which explains the cost. I was an Ambien taker. I had to stop that. While it might have helped sleep I was one that was sleep walking with it!! Besides I want to be drug free as possible. I tried other things for sleep but they didn't work so well. This..to my extreme surprise did help me sleep much better. I still have fragmented sleep. My husband snores, steals the blankets, its too hot or too cold etc. But seriously, I had a deeper sleep. 1: Packaging, as everyone else says, is wonderful. twist, press down, you get a metered dose. A little goes a long way. 2: Because little goes a long way, that does help to defray the cost. I have had this only a week so I can't report how long it will last me but for months I was told by a friend. One pump covers my face, neck and just below my neck. 3. No, it doesn't get onto linen. It sinks in the skin right away. 4. Oh yeah, skin. Yes, I did wake up with amazing skin. I did have glowing skin and softer. I don't think putting this on at night is a lot to ask or deal with. 5. I will continue to use this FOREVER despite the cost. It is all they say it is. ..... another tip that might help. Midnight sleep aid also worked for me. It is over the counter and not expensive. This feels amazing and works great on my face. Living in a very dry era this is. Life saver!

I purchased this because I was given a sample from my esthetician and I loved it. However, paying $50 and then using it has totally taken away from the “peaceful” feeling I had using the sample LOL. I won’t purchase it again but it does have a nice lavender scent.

Ok, I get it, the packaging is the worst thing on earth and this product is very expensive. However, I only use it once in a while when I REALLY need that extra plump and repair overnight. I’ve used it for years now but very sparingly. Nothing works quite like it to smooth your face overnight. God, I wish they would fix the packaging though

I use lots of Dermalogica products but recently used this night gel. It’s amazing, right consistency and goes on skin lovely. I’ve had sleep issues for a number of years but seems to help, lives up to name sleep cocoon Highly recommend
