DIY Carbon Fiber Repair Kit - Rapid Repair Kit for Carbon Fibre- Plain Weave

This is one of the least expensive carbon fibre repair kits available. If you have a small carbon fibre repair project it will work perfectly. I am not have not used it for a structural repair. The small repairs I have done are stronger now than the original. I used the kit to repair the carbon fibre high back on a Burton Binding. Burton wanted $150 US for 1 back. Easy to use the Kit and the binding back worked well all winter.

I used this carbon fiber kit to fix a cracked hockey stick blade. After watching the instructional video and a few YouTube videos of people repairing their stick I felt confident to do perform the repair. The kit comes with almost everything you need. Aside from the kit I needed clamps, cling wrap, tape, parchment paper and a scale. Some of these products are particular to my work flow and project. Honestly the scale wasn’t necessary as the little plastic cups that come with the kit come with measurement lines to mix the epoxy + hardener (3:1). The end result is very nice however I would improve my technique the next time. It would nice if the instructions provided a QR code to the link rather than having to type out the entire link that was provided on the instructions (paper provide). I had enough epoxy to apply some extra coats at the end to the hockey stick. It feels stronger than when I first purchased it

Works but no ratio to mix correctly

I was skeptical about ordering the kit. Used it to repair a damaged wheel cover on my RV. Easy to setup and apply with a quick cure time. Highly recommend it.

Repaired my broken hockey blade. Was fairly straightforward to use and formed super strong! Back to 95% I'd say. A bit messy
