Amazed at how good this kit is, the auto dimming on the helmet is spot on! The gloves are nice and thick but still allow you to handle your work piece with reasonable dexterity. I could not be more delighted with my purchase.

Both the helmet and gloves fit fine and are of reasonable quality for occasional use, both are solid, comfortable, the electronics works - keeping them. The front of the mask including the visor cover is plastic, so can be damaged by heat, and will be covered with droplets of metal coming from sparks - not for professional use. The helmet has an adjustable headband allowing to lift the mask up, in which position is stays until you nod without using hands - then it falls to cover your face. Well, the mask part is a bit heavy, but nothing extreme and is expected at the low price. This function is quite useful, although missed in the description. The forehead part of the band is wrapped in foam, a little wheel at the back allows tightening the band around the head. The mask covers the whole head and the neck. It didn't mist up in my brief test. The optics is of green tint, darkens as supposed to when looking at the arc or a filament bulb. When not darkened, it looks like wearing dark greenish sunglasses. This is quite reassuring, because it is an action of the basic filter cutting off the red and blue parts of the spectrum. Even without electronics it protects the eyes. The electronics works fine, easy controls, just the LCD visor is a bit non-uniform when darkened - more dark in the middle of the field of vision, and less to the sides. It can be a good feature actually if the welding arc is seen in the middle of the visor. The helmet comes with five protective shields for the front of the visor and one for the inner side. I usually wear XL gloves, and the supplied pair fits me fine.

Does every thing it should, they are no compliant for the price, Helmet works well, easy to adjust darkness, adjust to your head easily and feels nice.

Great product with very good eye protection when welding. Good value for money.
