I've had a Seiko quartz for about 20yrs only replacing the ocational battery. Decided it was time for a replacement. Decided to go for an automatic instead turned out to be a good choice had watch for several days now working perfectly and keeping good time. Certainly would buy Seiko again. Seemed a bit bulky to start with but is ok. Came out of box working i set time and date has been working perfectly ever since.

A Seiko 5 for £100??? Perfect! I was lucky to get this at the price! I’ve seen it for £220

I just love the black and silver contrast and sweeping second hand. Day and date also a bonus. At the price it beats nearly all my more expensive watches. Highly recommend this model. Discontinued in 2014. I'd advise getting one before they become rare and sought after.
