I am about to order this for the 15th time! I live in Las Vegas and unfortunately there is not alot of resources for our birds here in the winter months. This seed has been a lifesaver for my little friends in the back yard. It is a NO WASTE seed and does not have sunflower seeds in the shell! This means that there are no black seed shell droppings all over the place. Also I have noticed that there are NO sunflower plants popping up all over the place because any excess seed that drops is eaten by the birds on the ground. I use this in a tubular feeder with six feeding slots and it is perfect for the smaller birds like sparrows and finches. The larger birds in this area are unfortunately pigeons who really go to town on the seeds that spill to the ground. It is a very high quality food. I recommend that you pour the seed into a large plastic container with a lid to prevent any rodents for getting into this. I have not had a problem with bugs or rodents (or squirrels). When my feeder is empty, the birds come looking for me to feed them I go through an entire tube of food in ONE day - so be prepared for a daily bird frenzy. Using this consistently will draw birds to your yard. We really enjoy watching the fiesta at the feeder every day!

There ain’t no such thing as no mess on birdseed, but it was a very good birdseed. The bird liked it. I was pleased.

Great feed for smaller birds! We love this bird food because it tends to bring in smaller birds like finches. We keep getting gold finches showing up which we love! The blue jays that were harrassing our feeder havnt been back since we switched to this feed. 2 thumbs up!
