It Works! No Errors on our M283cdw. No transfer of hp chips, easy drop in installation. The cartridge was immediately identified as a non hp product after closing the door. However the printer recognized the correct supply level and printed without any popup notification of an error needing a bypass (clicking “ok” to proceed). Print quality appears unchanged from previous toners. No streaking, blotching/ dotting, or other blemishes. I would recommend this and will be back for more in the future.

Worked well initially, but less than 1/3 used and black lines all over my copy. Do not recommend.

I have a HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw and the one year old black cartridges have started to go after regular use. I went to the HP website and the prices they want for cartridges are crazy!!! So I searched Amazon for an alternative as I always have for my older HP printers. The great reviews landed me here and I took a shot. I am impressed by the compatibility and the print clarity. The installation was easy. Just dropped right in like the originals. The print quality is very good and compares just fine to the HP. Low cost is definitely a big driver to buy these vs the HP brand. I am hoping they last long and with the "X" extended even longer. I will continue to purchase these Premium Toner Cartridges if needed again. For those who are skeptical, I would say give it a try. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by the quality of the HP 206X high-yield, double black cartridge set that I purchased for my HP Color Lazer Pro M283cdw. Skeptical because of the numerous articles I read advising against going with non-HP brand cartridges due to myriad technical compatibility issues. I took the leap, got 2 high-yield black cartridges, saved quite a bit of money, and the cartridges simply plugged in and worked. No issues. Simple to install. It slid and locked right in. Works great.
