not as good as Book 1
I had high hopes for this book as I enjoyed Book 1 immensely. This was too sad and gloomy for my taste.

A Sequel Better Than the First Book
As enticing as the idea behind it was, the first book often seemed vague and lost its footing after Takako confronts her ex. It seemed to throw in Momoko after that just to create some interest, keeping her mysterious for the most part. The sequel makes her purpose clear and it also has a much surer voice. It’s still a bit chary when it comes to romance, can’t really feel the love between Takako and her new boyfriend most of the time. Their relationship goes so smoothly as to be bland. And we don’t quite know where the other romance in the book goes. Hoping for a sequel that brings out more in these relationships. But this was a deep, sayisfying read.

more please
Just like the title, more please, living in a book store would be the best thing in the world. There is more, I now what to travel to Japan to see if this area is for real, a entire neighborhood of second hand books.

A gift for yourself
It's slow. It's quiet. It's charming and will break your heart a little. This is a special book to nurture yourself, with all the craziness in the world. Highly highly recommended!

This book makes me so much emotional but it also makes me think of people I love. Although it was bit heavier than the first morisaki bookshop, I still enjoyed. Don’t read it in public lol
