I received the cameo 5 very quickly, it is grate product good for paper craft and other materials.

The machine broke after 3 months of minimal use. You can search on the web cameo 5 pinch roller and a lot of user suffer the same fate. Worst the seller advice is to buy a new one as this is not repairable. Total waste of money. Silhouette should recall this product.

Although it is the best in market in automatic but subscription of online store was inactive in same day of delivery . Also I had to spend do many hours in learning how to use the machine( i am new to this domain) from 3rd party videos not from Silhouette videos which were poor .

I was very excited to upgrade to Cameo 5 from my Cameo 3, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing: • The USB cable was missing from the box, which made it impossible to properly connect the machine to my laptop. • I tried using Bluetooth, but the connection was unstable and unreliable. • During cutting, the machine kept moving on its own, even though I double-checked all the correct settings. • I also tried different cutting mats and tools, but nothing worked. After several attempts and a frustrating experience, I had to return the product. I really hope the company improves packaging quality, software stability, and ensures that all essential accessories are included before shipping.

I have bought it six months ago. Last week it stopped working. It just gets frozen during cutting process and I can't even turn off by using the On/Off button.

This is my third machine from the same company and it broke after i used it for 3 times only I spoke to the main company and they said there was an issue with first dispatch machine but i have to return it through amazon because it’s outside usa!!!!!

Idont like it but i have to use it

I had bought one in Mexico — the only difference is that the one from there came with an extra replacement blade, which I see they don’t include here. Other than that, I like it better than the Cricut.

Be careful this is from USA and does not have a uk plug . Have had many problems getting it up and running. Got it running but now having problems with the bluetooth. BEWARE if you by this from Amazon and you have problems with it. Despite the fact that you have registered the product with SilhouetteAmerica, if it goes wrong they will not help to get it put right as we are not in USA oe Canada

I needed a machine that would allow me to do kiss cut stickers and just more over all control in the hands of the user, the Silhouette Cameo 5 delivers that. In started with a Cricut Maker 3 it doesn't even offer kiss cut settings and the software gives only limited cut control to the user. I tried numerous hacks but I was never able to get kiss cut out of it. For stickers the Cameo five default settings are for kiss cut and I was able to easily adjust the settings for die cut and the need to cut through a second layer of clear laminate. I also like the software, which has the same basic told as the illustration software I use. I was able to draw a free form cut path and a rectangle with rounded corners cut path. My one issue with the software is using the print to cut set up, it shows me to use more of the sticker sheet then Cricut but not so if it. I'm experimenting with creating print layouts that use the entire sheet and creating the cut paths myself. The machine is quieter than the Cricut Maker 3. I'm not impressed with the cut mat. It got very dirty, very quickly. I went to shabby l clean it the same way I cleaned my cricut mats, a little soap and water and the adhesive came right off. I will soon be investing in the electro static cut mat. It will be with it to have a consistently clean cut surface that doesn't damage it bend my materials. Bottom line, the Cameo 5 is more complicated but the better choice for the artist and creator that is doing their own thing.
