not the individual case and it fits exactly 2 pens (Novo rapid sized pens) and you can squeeze in two micro fine needle heads in the top and alcohol wipes
I ordered this pack as an emergency measurement as I travelled to Italy for a month long vacation and my husband forgot to pack the back up ice packs. And we couldn't find in ANY pharmacy in Rome that sold ice packs (not sure how they keep their insulin cool). We received the duo case, not the individual case and it fits exactly 2 pens (Novo rapid sized pens) and you can squeeze in two micro fine needle heads in the top and alcohol wipes. The pack doesn't leak water at all and is super safe to put next to a phone etc. But the alcohol wipes do get slightly damp. I wished there was an extra pocket somewhere for these items. I ordered the individual pack to ensure it would fit in my handbag or husbands pocket but I am happy I got the Duo as it fits just fine. I was super nervous buying this as obviously it's a life or death thing keeping insulin cool, but trust the reviews and description It works! Good to note that I live in Dubai and it's summer now, meaning 45°c + days and it still keeps the same 'cool' slightly below room temperature feel. However, the gel needs to be recharged much faster than described. I recharge it roughly every 30 hours, but I could probably leave it up to 48hours if I wasn't walking outside so much. The gel time lasted as advertised when I was on vacation in the Mediterranean (around 30°c). I have included this in my review to point out that the cooling technology still works in extremely high temperatures, just it dehydrates the pack faster. This was my main reservation in purchasing the pack. Still much more convienent than ensuring you have a frozen ice pack available all the time. Those last maximum about 90 mins in the Dubai Summer.

Works well for transporting meds
I was u sure how to transport my GLP1 meds during my last two plane trips but this works for me. It was still cold after an 8 hr travel day and I stored it in the hotel fridge til it was time to prep it for the trip back. I got the one tube style which works well for me.

Perfect
Great little insulin carrier. I don’t have to remember to keep insulin in the refrigerator. This insulated pouch hold two pens and keeps them cool for 45 hours. It is so convenient

keeps my insulin pen or two vials cooler and more even temped
I bought this after having been given one and liking it; it keeps my insulin at at a more even temperature when I'm on the go. Pro's + it keeps my insulin's temperature from swinging, so it doesn't get as stressed from changes and lasts better + it works exactly as it says: soak the bag in water, then slow evap from the crystals inside keep the bag cooler than outside temp + in cold weather it actually keeps my insulin pen from getting as cold in the car or in my pack, tho I don't remember the product info saying that, I just see that it does, but wouldn't if I forgot it out there in a hard freeze or dunked in a cooler for too long + one bag fits 2 vials top to bottom, or one pen + helps when I travel, I use one bag for each -- a vial or two of long acting in one, and my short acting pen in the other + all I do to keep the crystals "charged" is run fresh water inside and over the inner bag every 2nd or 3rd day depending on humidity, that seems to be enough to keep it wet enough without swelling it too tight + its not going to wear out Con's - if I soak the bag too long, my insulin pen is a very tight fit, gives me fits trying to get it back out without pulling the top off (or it out of the top, depending on which way I stuffed it into the bag); the vials are tight but can be squeezed up and out ok; it takes a few hours or half a day to let it dry down smaller for a better fit - this new blue one has a little shorter "use window" than the purple one I was given; the older one seems to hold for another day; not sure why; still, they both work well - I do put it in an unsealed sandwich baggie if I put it in my purse, or else it gets my stuff damp, but this cuts down on its cooling ability so it can't stay in the baggie; even leaving the baggie open isnt enough air for it to really do its cooling job but DOES still insulate - I needed to soak it then sort of squish/swish/clean it in running water, as it felt slimy 2 first times but cleaned up ok and stayed clean - it doesn't hold two of my insulin pens because of the way the 4 tubes of water crystals are sewn; kinda wish it did - the price made me think twice but I did buy after me hemming and hawing

This is excellent for anything you need to keep cool
Fabulous for medications or eye drops that need to be kept cool. It's easy to use and that's it doesn't require anything but water.

I don’t know what happened
This product worked fine for the first few months (except in humid conditions it just absorbs warm moisture from the air). Recently it has become discolored, shriveled up, hard, and smells terrible. It is now completely unusable.

insulin protectors
Can't beat the Frio products for protecting insulin from heat. I've used them for over 10 years in 90-95 degree temps with no problems. Soak in cold water for 15-20 minutes and let the case dry out for another 1/2 hour and they're ready to use. Can be carried in a pocket or purse, or left in a hot car for the day and last anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks without recharging. Some of mine are over 4 years old and still work although for shorter durations. I even use them in an ice chest to protect insulin from freezing, albeit for short durations as they need air to work. Don't seal them in for any length of time. Best product on the market for insulin protection whether you use a vial, pen or pump.
