This is a great sandal
I bought these because they look like they might work on my problem feet. Several years ago I broke every bone in my foot and an ankle and all the toes on the foot. I lose my balance easily and have fallen several times. My feet are wide to begin with but now my toes are all curling under my foot I and I have gout in the other foot. Seeing that these sandals were adjustable and had several places to adjust the fit and I bought them. I'm glad that it was recommended that you order a size down usually I wear a nine and a half. A lot of the time I'll order a 10 just to make sure the shoes are wide enough. They were right the size 9 fits me beautifully and I can adjust it through the best most comfortable sandals I've ever had and plan to be getting more in the future, and they are cute on.

Fabulous! Ordered a 2nd pair!
These have been the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned and I am 64! They are light in weight but fit like gloves. The adjustable straps allow you a literal custom fit for your feet. I had my first pair for 7 months wearing them nearly every day for work, on travel trips, walking and hiking. Never a blister, cutting or ache like other sandals produce. I loved my navy pair so much I went ahead and ordered a second pair in grey. I have worn my first pair during 1-4 mile easy hikes over woods, desert and roadways will equal success. The foot bed is very comfortable, and easy to wipe clean if gets sweaty dirt on it-which it will. The arch support is perfect (though I am noticing now my first pair the arch is wearing down slightly now compared to when I put my 2nd unused pair on). The slight ball of foot support feels great. The foot bed does not get slippery when wet, my foot stays put even thru streams and puddles or on rainy days. The sandals dry quickly. The Velcro closures are holding up well. I set the front and heel velcroe straps how I needed them initially and have not had to adjust them but only once due to swollen feet in hot humid weather activity. If you want to wear them with thick socks just make the easy adjustments! These are amazing and now I am toying with ordering yet another pair to keep for when and IF my original pair ever wears out. I highly recommend them. Size is true, I take a wide width and they fit great.

My New Favorite Shoes
i bought these before i went on a cruise. I needed a good pair of walking sandals so that I didn't have to bring tennis shoes. I wear these all the time now. They are my favorite pair of shoes and I will be sad when the temps turn cooler and I won't be able to wear them. They offer great support and my feet don't hurt when I wear them. My feet have a tendency to swell sometimes after walking or heat or salt. These are adjustable across the top of the foot, the back of the foot and around the ankle as well. So, it's easy to adjust as needed throughout the day. I have had them for 5 months and they haven't shown any signs of wear and are still comfortable. I wear them at least 5 days a week and wear them for 12 hours a day at least. I love them and will buy again. I was a little worried about the price because I never spend that much money on shoes, except for tennis shoes. These were well worth the price.

Good casual walking shoe
I'm a size 8 with profoundly flat feet and posterior tibial tendonitis (PTT) in my right foot. My daily shoe for the last five years has been Ecco's Yucatan sandal, and it's great but expensive, so I decided to try the Viakix as an alternative. I didn't expect these to be as good, but I was hoping that they would be good enough and last until I could afford another pair of my usual shoe. So far, this has worked out better than expected. No, these aren't as comfortable as my usual sandal, but I'd say they're about 85% as comfortable. The straps allow me to make fine adjustments to comfortably fit not only my flat feet but also the wraps I wear over them to treat my PTT. It takes me a little longer to get them comfortably on because there are many places where the edge of the strap can catch and rub me wrong if I'm careless. But if I take time to do it right, the straps always stay put. That's a definite advantage over the Yucatan and it's more open design -- much easier for me to get in with the straps on but also much easier for an edge of the strap to work free and annoy me. I live in a tropic environment and although I don't habitually go walking in heavy rain, I often get caught in light showers or have to navigate puddles during the wet season. So far, the shoes are holding up very well -- I'd say at least as well as the Eccos. In terms of looks, I prefer my Eccos but must admit that the Viakix are better looking as office wear. Fortunately, my company doesn't care, but I've worked in other places where the more rugged looking Eccos weren't acceptable and thus had to suffer through the workday in far less comfortable shoes. But the Viakix would have been fine, so I could have been comfortable and met the dress code. Of course every place is different in terms of requirements, but if you need a good walking sandal that looks more business casual than mountain hiking trip, this might work. If money were no object and looks didn't matter, I'd stay with the devil I know (Ecco). But for something a little more suitable for my office or for staying to a budget, Viakix are the clear choice. Fortunately, this is one time where I can save significant money without taking a similar hit in quality. The products aren't the same, but they're close enough, and I've definitely gotten my money's worth from the Viakix. I'll likely buy another pair when the time comes, but that might take a while -- the soles are holding up nicely.

Comfortable, stylish enough to not look frumpy
Love these sandals. Bought one pair, then after seeing how comfortable they were, ordered in another color. I like that they're adjustable basically everywhere and have a nice, soft (but not too soft) sole. They do make the bottom of your feet a little sweaty if it's hot out or you wear them for a while, but if you're a sock w/sandal wearer, problem solved. If not, please wash your feet after removing, lol.

Great Sandal
Comfortable and durable sandal. I wore these everyday this summer to work and they held up great. I got a second pair for my mom since they are slip resistant and the straps are easy to secure

Very comfortable!
Love my sandals. Very comfortable though I wouldn't wear them through a creek. I don't hike. But these are pretty enough to wear to church with dresses or for everyday wear.

Folks, this entire shoe is adjustable. All those straps mean that if one of your feet is a bit bigger than the other, or if you have a history of a sore toe on one foot, or if one foot is injured, you can adjust everything about this shoe. That's also something you can do if one of your feet swells from intensive walking or heat, for example--or if you decide to wear socks some days but not every day. This sandal is VERY comfortable. It is also highly waterproof, or at the very least it is extremely fast-drying. The only reason I rated it 4 instead of 5 for durability is because I just got them so I can't speak to that feature yet. I rated it 4 instead of 5 for support only because the arch could be a little bit higher, especially if you have plantar fasciitis, as I do. But overall I have to say that the support is very decent. I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 (size 38) so I ordered 7 and the fit is perfect. I think these are like the Teva Tirra but BETTER because the strap structure is more adjustable and the sizing (which is notoriously off for Teva Tirras) is bang on for these Viakix sandals--and they are cheaper too. They are also more elegant than the Teva Tirras, in that the foot looks slimmer so the sandal has a slightly more dressy look for a walking sandal. Highly recommended.

I received my sandals just in time for a warm sunny day (they were on time) ive the grey ones and they go well with leggings/jeggings. I've a huge bunion and collapsed arches and my feet swell in the heat. The sandals have been made for my feet and suit me down to the ground😊. I can adjust the velcro to suit my feet. Another plus is i can do my daily 10,000 steps without getting stones in them.

Really pleased with these sandals. It's very difficult for me to find a comfortable fit as I have very large bunions, flat feet. The ability to custom adjust the straps allowed a comfortable but snug fit. I did add decent self-adhesive arch supports which enhanced the fit and comfort. A big plus is that, surprisingly, these sandals pick up very little grit on trails. They are great for walking and light hiking and so far I've covered many kilometres wearing them.
