I bought this cable as a replacement for my long lost original cable that came with my amazing first gen. Skullcandy Crushers. I haven't tried the microphone on them yet, but the pause/play button & volume buttons work perfectly & it overall works just as well as the original cable without having to pay $25 for a "name brand" cable. It feels well built, and has given my headphones back the sound quality they originally had when I had the original cable. Amazing value for $ & I highly suggest buying one or so for whatever you need them for. It works quite well as an Aux cord as well, but the buttons don't do anything on my older Sony Walkman mp3 player. I keep forgetting to try them on the newer Walkman that I bought in 2012/13. The buttons might work on it. But as far as modern electronics go, I have a Samsung Galaxy A20 and it's able to control the volume & play/pause features on it via Pandora, YouTube, and the Funimation Streaming apps. It's a great cord, buy it. Or don't, whatever. You won't find a better cable/cord for under $10. I paid like $7.49 for mine. This is a real review btw. The grammar & punctuation should be a dead giveaway (not that it's perfect, but it's better by far than the obviously fake reviews on here haha).

Very close to original Beats version. Slightly less flexible. Slightly shorter. But the audio is clear both directions. And the mic works very well for meetings and calls. Appears to be durable and does not tend to “self tangle” like so many headset cords. And the right price.

I had purchased this aux as a replacement for the one I lost some time ago. It has been a while since I used my beats headphones, as everything is now Bluetooth. I needed headphones to plug-in for my podcast. I just happened to plug this into my controller one night, and tested to see if the microphone worked, and it did. And the audio was crystal clear. I was surprised, as usually the wires for beats that are compatible with Xbox her almost rare. I am not sure if that is an Xbox series X thing as previous XB1 models did not with with Beats. Happy it does!

I am using this cable with modified Sennheiser HD558 headphones. I installed a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter in the headphones. The audio sounds great when listening to music. The remote on the cable works great with my Andriod phone. Unfortunately, the microphone is not that great, and people tell me I sound a bit muffled.

I have Beats Studio3 and I needed a replacement cord and this fits exactly what I am looking for. I did assume that this product was a Beats official product and was disappointed however I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. The value of the product is really great! I am very satisfied. Pros - Better than the original cord - Feels very durable - Sound quality is perfect - Length is perfect Cons - Volume rocker for MacBook Pro doesn't work as desired however just use the keyboard to adjust the sound and it works perfectly

My son destroyed his connecting cord for his Beats. I knew it would happen, it was just a matter of time. Got these in blue, they match pretty good and have worked perfectly right out of the package. We have had it a couple of months now and it is used daily. No complaints.

If you don’t mind not having volume control, these are fine. Sound good and cheap. But the volume buttons may as well not be there, they don’t work at all. Play/Pause does work however.

I got this cord to replace the one from my Beats Studio Edition headset and they work perfectly. No latency or scratching and they work just as well as the original. I've been using this one for just under a year now and the cord has held up nicely; no fraying or splitting at the ends. I bought another one to use as a dedicated AUX for a speaker and it works just as well as the other. If you are looking for a headset replacement cord, look no further.
