Fun, Great First Dirt bike
⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Five-Star Review The X-Pro Hawk Mini dirt bike is fantastic! Assembly was quick and easy, with clear instructions. It starts on the very first kick every time. The size is perfect, and the speed is just right—great for 8-10 year olds. Great build quality and performance for the price. Easily rides 150lbs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dependable starter mini dirt bike!

Good beginner bike
Bought this for my soon to be 9yo son. He had been wanting a "gas powered dirt bike with a key" so we found this. Fairly easy to assemble (instructions and videos contained few to no words). Added some oil and gas and he was off. He loves it and has ran through the tank once already (less than 24 hours) and it started right up once more gas was added and we primed it. Def worth the money. I'll update if things go sideways. PS, bought the 2 year warranty for peace of mind.

Great little Dirtbike
This little bike is Amazing. My grandson is 5 and we bought him this for Christmas. Along with trading wheels to put on it. We were very impressed. This bike looks amazing. It’s a real dirtbike, just kidsized. They put it together and it started right up. He now rides this all the time, it’s his favorite thing to do. This little bike goes pretty fast for a little guy but within a day he figured the throttle all out and rides it extremely well. This dirt bike definitely did not disappoint. It’s an Awesome bike. ( it wasn’t too hard to put together either)

Good for the price
The biggest issue that held me back from 5 stars was getting the chain alignment right. I know a lot of people have made the same complaint and moved on or gave up on it. I’m fairly mechanically inclined so it took some time. My 8 year old son ran it for the first time and the chain slipped off. After a some research and a few hours of wrench time, I got it locked in and has been riding it since with no issues. He’s put about 7 hours of run time on it with no chain slipping. He’s ridden through mud, dirt, grass and some road way with no complaints. Engine fires up first pull everytime. PRO tip, change the oil before you start it for the first time. The oil from the factory was a little low and I’m sure isn’t of any quality. Also, change the oil every ten hours per the manual. It’s super easy to do and only takes a little bit so a quart of oil should last you almost a year. My son has a blast riding it, it certainly rips for a 40cc. With any small engine, it takes attention and regular maintenance. Assembly took about 45 minutes and I did it solo.

This thing is perfect for a seasoned beginner
Only had it for three days so far, it was simple to put together and started in the first pull. My daughter is 4 years old and only 42inches tall. It’s a little tall for her but she’s can get on and off it like a champ. It’s a perfect introduction bike to get your kid used to a gas motor. Mine has been riding the razor Mx350 for 8 months now, so switching from that to one with suspension is an upgrade! Even if this thing doesn’t last long the replacement parts are cheap and repairs are easy. 10/10 recommended. It had an extremely slow take off which is perfect for a new rider. Also there’s no long exhaust pipe going out the back nothing to get burned on it the lay it down. I did have to make an adjustment to the handle bars as they tend to move some when tightened all the way down. But that’s not worth taking a star away for.

Stopped working after less than a month
Gave to my son on October 10th and have used it less than a month. It completely cut off and will not start… my husband has a dirt bike so he looked it all over and tried to troubleshoot and could not find anything wrong other than it just doesn’t work. My son is extremely devastated as he just got it for his birthday!! I’m waiting to get a response back from X-PRO as to what to do and see if they will help us with it! Update to November 14th- I have spent 2 weeks talking back and forth with this company.. they’ve sent me parts.. FaceTimed me and sent me endless YouTube videos to try and fix this bike! It’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had .. they are no help even their tech said the bike is really messed up it sounded like and doesn’t seem to be fixable, yet they refuse to compensate or refund me or even send a new bike! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BIKE!

Buy the protection plan.
Buy the protection plan. It wasn’t too bad to assemble; it runs fine as we used a very high-quality 10w40 full synthetic oil and 91 octane ethanol-free gas. The problem we have is that the handlebars, while fully tightened, became loose and now won’t stop moving. We are working with Asurion to solve the problem. I will update when I have a resolution.

Great little bike
I wanted to wait a few weeks before I made this review. Ordered it for my son for his 9th birthday. It arrived 2 days early which was great, putting it together was simple. It goes fast enough to get home excited but not to fast to ride around our 1/4 acre back yard. Chain came loose the first few times he rode it but after some adjustment we’ve found the sweet spot for it. Takes exactly $1 to fill his gas take at current gas prices, we thought that was cool. Overall I’m very pleased, he has his own key, has to put gas in it, and soon we’ll do the first oil change. Overall I’m not expecting it to last forever, I can see the engine is basically a weed eater engine which can probably be easily swapped out if need be. The frame and suspension seems fairly robust. It has been in some minor crashes this far and has held up well.
