Bought to aid moving a wheelchair over threshold from wood to carpet , works very well for wheeled shower chair

Although I didn't want this for a threshold the cuttable rubber & sealing tape enabled me to fabricate a longer floor seal for my shower.

This is far better to fit on your carpet, than the usual metal strip. And being available by the metre is good

Long story short, there is a transition between our kitchen and our living room, where it goes from flat vinyl to deep pile carpet. I’d had to lift the carpet there once upon a time, but ever since, the metal bar they had put down bent, and never fit again (it was poorly made). Anyway, with young people running between the kitchen and living room, we’ve had a lot of stubbed toes and foot injuries, as well as the robot vacuum catching the lip and raising it back out etc. so I’ve used this to replace the whole lot and it works perfectly! I even had a power cable for a keyboard that had to run under the carpet, now routed through the channel in the ramp! I was delighted to fix it so hopefully will last a long long time.

I've got the ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 OMNI Robot Vacuum Cleaner. There is a considerable threshold between the kitchen and dining room (about 4cm). This ramp allows the robot to go up the ramp and easily clear the threshold, even though its only 2.5cm high.

Our house used to have carpets and now has wooden flooring, leaving a mini "step" in each doorway which is awkward for wheel chairs and moving furniture. This smooths out the doorways and makes life much easier. It seems durable so far and is easy to cut and position.
