Red Rising: Red Rising / Golden Son / Morning Star / Iron Gold Extended Excerpt

I put off reading Red Rising for a long time. It gets recommended a lot but the initial premise seemed too hunger games for me. Too YA. I've tried starting it twice. But the other night I thought well I'll give it a go after some old Star Wars EU book was as dull as old Star Wars EU books can be. It's amazing. I read the 1st book in less than a day. In less than a week im halfway through book 3. I can't really mention much without spoilers but stick with it, ignore the initial YA plotting and strap yourself in.

Thoroughly engaging and continuously gets better from start to finish. I highly recommend reading it. Once you start reading, it's impossible to let go of it.

I have only ever read fantasy, however something made me give this a try and I was not disappointed. If you are a fantasy lover, give this a go and you won't regret it.

Great series, character development is good, lots of action and ups and downs along the way. Very enjoyable. Would recommend.

Thoroughly engaging from the get go and doesn’t let up. Forget these massive behemoths of a series that move like a sloth. This is how you write a great story. As the saying goes ‘I couldn’t put it down’ and it just got better and better as the book continued. On to the next!

Bought it for a friend for Xmas present. She love it. Always nice to have a set of the series so that u can binge on it...

I don’t have enough words to describe how good this series was. If you’re even curious and questioning about it - get it. It will be worth your time.
