This is a fantastic value set of pens, my daughter loves colouring and these cover to much nicer than normal felt tip pens, they blend in well to produce a much more high quality, artist look and feel to her drawings. The range in colours in this set is intense, with 120 colours this provides for some really good shading options. I also like that this comes with a really robust and sturdy storage case which is perfect for her transporting the pens to and from school.

As a parent, I nearly fainted when I saw the price of these Ohuhu pens. But as she's a teen now and taking GCSE Art, we thought it was worth it to get her what she really wanted. If you know Ohuhu, you'll know the finish is legendary. The colour goes on smoothly and remains bright and true even when it dries. The pens are comfortable to hold and this kit has a great range of colours for a new Ohuhu collector. If you want to buy a complementary set, I can highly recommend the Ohuhu skin tones pack which, together with this one, will be all they need to begin creating cartoons, manga, kawaii or even life-like art.

These need to be used on watercolour paper. Then they will be blendable and able to achieve streak free finish. Regular colouring book paper starts pilling if you try to colour the traditional “back and forth” way. On thin paper, you have to colour line by line to avoid pilling and apply 3 cross hatched and diagonal layers to minimise streaking. I mean, it’s not a fault of the pens, I do not deduct stars for this because it’s nature of water based pens. I am saying this only so people know what to expect. I am attaching a photo of 3 layers on a regular printer paper. What I did not like was colour selection, quality of nibs and caps not matching. Swatch sheet is an absolute must! There is lack of warm vs cool browns and greys. You can buy more brown through skintone set but there’s no way to expand the greys. Considering that these are aimed at artists in a way, larger selection of greys is a must. And lastly, several nibs arrived already frayed. There are 5 replacement nibs included which is nice but I rather my pens were in good condition from the start. What I did like was the case. Caps on one ends are thinner than on the other end which helps to slot the pen back into the case easier. No weird odours, like you get with cheap Chinese sets and you get a massive amount of pens for the price. It really is a good value set.

These are great for hours of colouring with the many colours and shades also the thick and thin tip makes those fine lines easier to achieve without going out the lines. Great gift for kids or adults

Ohuhu make really superb pens. I have several sets now and I love them. Fine line, brush, glitter , metallic I love them all. Buy with confidence and know you're going to get an amazing quality pen at a reasonable price. Worth the outlay. I only wish they did gel pens as my search is still on for ones that preform as well as these

I like these a lot. Massive range of colours with only a few very similar or duplicates. Good quality case and handy colour guide that you can colour in yourself to see the true colour of each pen, rather than the preprinted colour provided (there are some slight differences). Pens work well, although I sometimes find the lids a bit difficult to put on and take off.
