This product is EXACTLY what I was looking for: One button for communicating back and forth, an on/off switch, and an antenna that doesn't bend or swivel in any way. It requires batteries & is not a rechargable item. It is made of plastic and is durable enough for an eight or eighty year old. The functionality is super simple and easy to operate. Definitely kid friendly and handy, even for adults who are interested in a simple design that doesn't have a lot of stations to find and coordinate with the other device. I wasn't looking for a cheap product, just one that was affordable and easy on the wallet...And I found it! In the future, we may splurge on a different design, but for now, this product meets and exceeds all of my expectations for a fun, easy and convenient product to use for little hands and peace of mind for the family. When each of us is in a room at opposite ends of our home, it's better to use a walkie to communicate, than it is to yell and disturb everyone else. Which was perfect for what we were looking for. The sound is perfect and not too loud. The only problem is not actually a problem, and that is just simply teaching my youngster to remember how to hold down the button when speaking so that I can hear him properly. These walkie talkies are so cute, I think that they are recommended for little kids ages from the ages 2 to 5 little fingers.

Great walkie talkies, simple & work great HOWEVER when my kids opened them on Christmas morning…they were able to hear & talk to other kids in the neighborhood who must have also gotten some. We’re in our own home with no kids on either side of us so I guess that speaks wonders of the distance & maybe great for families who have more than 2 kiddos but for safety & privacy reasons we’re going to have to return & get something else.

My kids have had so much fun with these talking back and forth. It connects good. Kid friendly. The kids have played with these for a couple of days and the battery is still going strong. The kids have dropped and thrown them around and they have held up. Super durable. Great gift.
