Where is the pea "sourced" from? Many products I've seen package the Chinese "sourced" pea protein.

According to their community forum (Jan 2020), Naked Pea is still processed is China. Another Amazon brand, NorCal Organic, has pea protein grown in Canada, processed and packaged in the USA.

Is this company still processing it's pea protein in china? i would like to buy it when this changes to north america. thanks!

Here was the response I received. Hello Diane, The peas are shipped to Asia because they are primarily used in making noodles. The pea protein is a byproduct of this process and the demand for the noodle material is much higher than the protein in Asia. Our protein is tested at least 3 times before it is ever packaged so are very confident in its quality. Please let us know if you have any other questions Have a great day!

Can anyone tell me about the likelihood of this product containing a high level of heavy metals? I have read a lot about brown rice having that.

It's 100% pea protein, not brown rice.

The label says there is 15mg of Cholesterol per serving! Where is the Cholesterol coming from?

I contacted Naked Nutrition directly. They responded stating that the first labels were imprinted incorrectly. The new labels have been changed to show zero cholesterol. There is only one ingredient in their pea protein and that is peas. It is vegan. Hope this helps.
