IBD Hard Gel – LED/UV Builder Gel Pink, .5 oz, Made in the USA

I haven't used a gel builder from any other brand so I can't speak for how this one compares. I've been happy using this to build my gel nails with tips enough to have bought it again as I was getting close to the end if my first pot. Seems pretty easy to work with but I'll say that when I got low on product, it got extra sticky and thicker than in the very beginning. Since I can't compare it to other brands I don't know it'd this is typical or not but I do know plenty of other types of nail related products, top coats, base coats, many polishes etc. tend to do something similar. Overall, I'd buy it again when I need more since I have no reason to try other brands.

My nail salon uses this product . With Covid 19 they have been closed and no sings of them opening. I was desperate. Ordered all the products needed on Amazon and LOVE the way they came out. I never did them before but was easy to use. A little more practice and I may have a side job LOL.

The first time I was sent the UV one instead of LED one and had to return...but ANYWAY, 1. Viscosity- very runny for a builder gel. I make my own enhancements with sticker forms and have to do a lot of filing because the product settles (more like oozes) to the sides if I don’t get it in the lamp right away. Can’t imagine trying to use this with dual forms it would goop right out the sides. 2. Color- beautiful perfect jelly pink like used for a classic French 3. Other products - I’ve had best results using first a dehydrator/primer, second the IBD bonder, and lastly after building the IBD glass finish (if you don’t wanna apply soak off gels on top). I don’t recommend using the IBD glass finish on soak off gels - it was cloudy and didn’t cure right. 4. Application tip- if you have weak side walls or hangnails you will have to find that perfect thickness (and placement) of application or it will chip away at the smile line. 5. Storage- bubbles are really annoying to get out of this!!! I store it upright sitting still on a shelf, separate from my nail stuff. This helped a lot to prevent opening a pot full of bubbles. 6. Please don’t review products like this if you don’t understand their purpose or how to use them- it’s not helpful :)

I love IBD and have been using it for years. It is my go to for hard gel!

This product is a little too thin for my liking. It is not pink!! May as well get the clear gel. It seemed to be a little softer than a hard gel. I tried curing for a longer amount of time but didn't seem to help.

Same as the salons use. Smaller bottle but will still last a long time. Gardens and works excellent for fills.

This protects and strengthens my nails while my nails grown out.

...I am not a professional but this builder gel is so easy to use and cures easily under my LED lamp! Great base coat for nails that break easily before they can grow even a little. Highly recommended and the small jar will last a VERY long time.

This builder gel was really good to use! I am only a beginner but I found it relatively simple once I got the hang of it. One thing I would say is that the colour is a very light pink so I would recommend using clear tips if you’re going to do nail extensions. I used natural tips and it gave me a very nice pink and white ombré effect. The pot is the perfect size and will definitely last you a long time. This builder gel will give you good long lasting nails. To cure the builder gel I purchased the SUNmini UV/LED lamp, which costs about £12 on amazon and so it’s very affordable and good for beginners like me. The lamp cured the builder gel well and I would recommend 60s under the lamp. This builder gel is perfect just by itself or to build up an extension to then paint over. Would definitely recommend this product! :)

Product worked very well for me. I am a beginner and I did watch a lot of youtube video's before I used this product and I think they turned out pretty good for my first time. The picture shows my nails after 2 weeks and I think there held up pretty good.

Als Nageldesignerin kann ich sagen, dass das IBD LED/UV Builder Gel Pink ein sehr hochwertiges Produkt ist. Ich habe es in Nagelstudios gesehen, in denen chinesische oder thailändische Profis arbeiten, und wollte es selbst ausprobieren, da ich in meiner Umgebung kein vergleichbares Produkt gefunden habe. Das Gel hat eine flüssige Konsistenz, die für erfahrene Anwender sehr gut geeignet ist. Es härtet zuverlässig aus und bleibt lange auf den Nägeln – bei einem meiner Kunden sogar über einen Monat. Für Anfänger kann es jedoch schwierig sein, damit zu arbeiten, da es sehr flüssig ist und für präzise Techniken Übung erfordert. Einziger Nachteil: der Preis ist recht hoch, insbesondere für die geringe Menge. Daher werde ich es nur nach Bedarf nachbestellen.
