The struts were really easy to install and the instruction were simple and straightforward. The struts work great and prop the hood up and retract smoothly when closing the hood. All the parts were there and seem to be good quality. Literally took 20 minutes to install.

The rear hatch struts on my dad's 09 Matrix had failed. Didn't want to pay oem pricing, so looked on amazon and found these. Came with clear instructions, and were super, super easy to replace myself (like literally 2 minutes total. No tools required). They work perfect. Highly recommended.

Some DieHard Jeep enthusiasts will always remain pure. As you get older sometimes it's nice to have some comforts on your Wrangler. If you're like me and you had smashed your fingers, while trying to open the hood of a Wrangler Jeep it seems that the Prop Post, is something from 1942. That said, as one gets older it is nice to have good gas hydraulic struts to open your hood no more finger smashing and you have the simplicity of releasing both side hood and/or bonnet latches while moving the middle lever to the right, Voila! No hands needed to touch the hood it will open automatically. On the hydraulic struts there are releasing points that you push down and move to the side and the hood will fold back on the black rubber mounts to the windscreen and you can have a completely open view of your engine. It appears to be a good product in fact just as good as Red Line, which cost $20 more and that's a waste of money. You get a decent warranty with this product and it will save you on your fingers getting injured in the future. thank You, Prof. GDG
