This vacuum really sucks, but in this case it's a good thing. My old vacuum I thought worked good. It looked like it did a good job vacuuming. That is until I bought this vacuum. It was only 1 day between me vacuuming my room with the old vacuum and me vacuuming with the new vacuum. I was shocked at how much dirt the new vacuum sucked up. I had to empty the canister 2x. We have an old house and the carpeting is old. Because of the amount of dirt this vacuum sucks up the carpet looks so much better.I vacuumed my cats room and furniture. (Yes my cats have their own room complete with queen sized bed ). On my old vacuum I dreaded vacuuming their room. One of my cats is long haired. The roller bar on the old vacuum had to be cleaned every single time I vacuumed. This new vacuum with the new technology doesn't have bristles for hair to wrap around it. It makes things so much easier. I never realized how difficult it was to push and maneuver the old vacuum. This new vacuum makes it effortless. I can practically vacuum with 2 fingers. Whatever direction I move it in, it moves so smoothly. Vacuuming doesn't seem like a chore when I use this vacuum. Shark has a winner with this one.

This is 2 bedrooms that we have carpet with 2 dogs in house! This is what the Shark got after we had just ran a Hoover bag type vacuum over these floors!! This thing will pull your carpet off the floor it sucks so hard and cleaning out the dust bin was a breeze!

I've had a few Sharks & yes this is the top dog in every way. I read a review that I gave a thumbs up too on purchasing a refurbished one & I too was reluctant but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Just like new. Zero stars - arrived with damaged dust bin lever. We ordered this as a replacement vacuum. We had the same vacuum before so we are very familiar with how it works & it is obvious the lever doesn't work properly & a picture clearly shoes this.Amazon says to call the seller. I call the seller & the message says there's no voicemail set up & call back later.So, I call amazon back & they say they're sending an email to the seller & wait 2 days for them to respond.We don't have time for this. We use our vacuum daily & we need it replaced NOW.

Heavy unit which moves smoothly across the carpet. Very good suction pulls out lots of dirt that the previous sweeper missed. Warranty reduced as compared to new unit instead of refurbished one.

Best vacume everI dog sit/Rover and with dogs around all winter I just had to upgrade my vacume. One entire canister from each of my 3 rooms! Living room area rug, dining room area rug, kitchen runners, all short pile, and bedroom deep pile area rug. Amazing. It does have some weight to it in upright mode, it does feel like self propelled. Canister is large and excellent. All my hardwood floors are dust free with the hard wood option on. Cord is long enough so I can go thru all first floor rooms without having to unplug. Easy to rinse and let air dry. Next is the furniture covers with the attachment I just got for pet hair on sofa and ottoman. Amazing!!!🥰

This was a great vacuum while it worked. I bought the "Refurbished - Excellent" and it has malfunctioned in 6 months. I called Amazon support since it says it is covered by the "Amazon Renewed Guarantee," but they say since it is out of the 30 day return window, they cannot do anything. A lot of money for it to only last 6 months.Edit: I was able to fix this by cleaning the springs where the wand attaches to the vacuum using a Q-tip and isopropyl alcohol

Really great suction and varying floor level options! I love that it gets all crumbs first pass instead of like other vacuums where some of the dirt/crumbs/cat litter etc. will go flying out the backside of the vacuum and scatter around the floor. That doesn’t happen with this vacuum. It is a little bit heavier to maneuver (or rather average weight for a vacuum)—it is not a lightweight cheap vacuum. The canister is plenty big and it’s easy to tell when it should be emptied. It really is a nice vacuum.
