Babysense Parent Unit for MaxView Video Baby Monitor

Replaced this twice since my daughter was born. She’s 2 months old. This is quite literally one of the cheapest, worst made electronics I’ve ever had. The screen has broken in the same spot on both monitors from gentle, normal daily use. Go with any other company but Babysense. This product is less than worthless.

*Update*They had sent out a replacement parent monitor for me with an extended warranty in case something happens again and I greatly appreciate that. Very friendly and very fast replying with their customer service chat. They were more than willing to resolve the issue I was having and quick to respond. Thank you!The picture and quality are very clear and I love the multiple zooms on it but, for how expensive it is for replacement monitor screens, it’s VERY fragile. It fell off of my nightstand and broke a component in the screen just from that short drop and that was my replacement that I bought from the original somehow getting water in the screen and the screen completely going out from a very small drop of water inside the screen. Even the rice trick didn’t work for it. Just wish it was cheaper with being so fragile or made better with the same price. Love the cameras for this monitor too.

UPDATED: the customer service is very good and they have replaced our broken monitor at least twice. Still frustrating that it breaks so easily though.We keep buying this bc it's one of the only monitors available with a split screen and a 1080p picture (less than that is so fuzzy). But the parent unit is so terribly fragile, it's ridiculous. The screen breaks easily even with gentle, normal use so keeps having to be replaced which is so frustrating.

We love this monitor - so much better picture quality than the monitor we replaced. We had an issue where the kick stand broke, and the metal piece fell inside the unit and shorted it - huge pain, especially not having a working monitor while waiting for a replacement, but customer service was great and made this right for us. Definitely recommend this monitor, especially for multiple cameras.

I had to replace this camera twice in 6 months. For the price it should be A LOT more durable to not break consistently. Monitor and sound fail to turn on. VERY disappointing.

Amazing and very helpful!!!!

Got this replacement after my daughter dropped it from her 20" height and the pin holding the kickstand vacant dislodged inside the device and shorted it out. I wish the corner light could be turned off because it lights up the room at night and isn't useful to me. I had to put electrical tape over it. The lowest brightness setting is also too bright for a dark room. Otherwise, the UI is straightforward and the latency is very low, temp sensor is no better or worse than other products (useless), range is great, sound is great, battery is decent lasting all night when new, very simple pairing, well written instructions. I did have higher expectations for this price point, namely resiliency

The pin holding the stand fell into the inside of the monitor and broke the monitor and now it’s unusable, only got to use it for a month before now needing to order a new one. We didn’t even drop it, normal usage caused this issue.
