As against my earlier 6 mm thick mat, this8 mm mat is slightly harder but offers much better cushion to knees. Being thicker, it is more difficult have a tight roll as it opens up as soon as you leave.It did have an odour but I expect that to go away over some period.Thickness makes it difficult to be fully flat on ground. I have reverse rolled it and there is improvement in flatness.Overall no complaints and I will get used to its hardness.Only Negative point is, it has come with some stains, probably of resin used during manufacturing. It does not affect yoga on the mat but does leave a sore feeling about receiving a product below its own advertised standard. Should have checked before releasing it.

The product that I received, two layers of the mat was not bonded properly and they were opening from one side, the mat is also less wide than the other mat which I have and also it says 8 mm, but the quality is way poorer in comparison to the Qatalyze mat that I have been using for 2 years now. My strong recommendation is not to buy YOGARISE mats. Completely dissatisfied. Also the bag that comes along is pathetic quality, stitching is coming out, it is so tight that it takes few minutes to put mat in. It is a struggle to put mat inside the cover, I am sure this is the least of the things where you want to waste your time on.

Packaging very poor and delivery very late but material ok , carry bag for low quality and price too much compare to material.

I recently purchased this Yoga Mat by Yogarise, and I have to say, it's an amazing product. The thickness of the mat provides excellent cushioning and support during my yoga practice and also its easily foldable and lightweight can easily used while travelling. After using for 1 week, I can say, MAT is fine. Provides that extra cushioning. Grips the floor well. However, does not grip you sufficiently well, during tough asanas. Should improve.I don't know, what happens after washing. Hopefully, the fused-layers of the 2-colours don't come-off, as shown in some of the reviews here.Carry-Bag & the Strap are both, cheap & useless quality. Tearing down, with just 2-3 uses.
